As a long term client of Joe Mastriano, P.C. and a business owner myself, I can tell you that this firm has always provided timely services and has helped me avoid an audit when my deductions may not have met all the rules. Those of you wanting experienced advice that will help you save money, do a consultation and see for yourself. I highly recommend this firm for all your tax needs.A little story. I owed over 1 million to the IRS for payroll tax. They helped me set up a new corporation and cut the liability in half. I had talked to other attorneys about what can be done. They wanted to file a bankruptcy.I then contacted some of the top Google search results that came up after I typed in "IRS problem help" "tax problem attorney". I found out that many are not even law firms or CPA firms. They are full of sales people who kept asking me for my credit card information promising me results without really understanding my situation.What I really liked about Joe was that he has a low priced in depth meeting where he explains how to deal with the IRS. How to really avoid an audit. He also know every rule to follow to avoid levies. When I called to IRS they were able to confirm that everything he told me was correct. Although, they were quick to try to say they would take care of me and that I didn't need to hire anyone.So, I was confident that I wanted to have Joe Mastriano, P.C. work my case, even though I know several competent attorneys that I've worked with before.If you have any tax issues you have to see this guy. I don't know anyone who spent over 30 years dealing with IRS matters like he has.
Wow! After reading all the other reviews I am shocked! Had I read them beforehand I may not have moved in to my current property. However, my experience has been completely different, and Estephanie made my application process as painless and smooth as possible. Don't get me wrong, there were a lot of hoops to jump through as their screening process for tenants is efficient. But they were just thorough. Amanda in the office literally walked me through the set up of my Tenant Portal by staying on the phone with me with step by step instructions. She & Estephanie were more than amicable and pleasant to do business with. Prior to move-in, there were a few things I wanted addressed, and I was given no flack as they took care of those repairs. I found them to be professional & have no complaints. As we have been here a couple weeks now, I have noticed a few other things that need addressing, and have gone the proper channels by following protocol with a service request. Though they have not been addressed yet to this date, they are not issues detrimental to safety or health and I am sure they are not considered top priority while making repair rounds. I am overall pleased and quite hopeful of our business relations in the future. As someone whom holds Ethics and Professionalism as staples for my practices, I currently see no holes in theirs. Like many situations, different factors apply & create a different experience. In my experience, it's best to uphold high standards for oneself, and usually the response is to get back the same in return.

“Hello everyone, I want to share my very positive experience that my husband and I have had with Joe Mastriano, PC. In 2012 we had owned a business in North Carolina that unfortunately failed. Our original tax attorney set our business up as a C-Corporation. We are still not sure why we were set up with that tax status. We had a very complicated tax situation especially trying to file a corporate return ourselves. I called Joe Mastriano, PC, they immediately took the time to set up a conference call with a team of Tax Attorneys to better understand our situation. Initially I was assigned an account Manager Sherry O who has been exceptional. She followed up with me weekly about any prior issues and knew how to put my tax fears at ease. Tax attorney Laurel was exceptional as well with her knowledge and research in finding answers to resolve our tax questions and to best meet our needs when completing our Corporate return. Joe Mastriano, PC has also helped with our 1040?s by amending them to reflect our loss from our Corporate return. Joe Mastriano, PC is also affordable and really came through when we were in a tax bind. I strongly recommend Joe Mastriano, PC, especially if your tax situation is complicated!. When we were in the market for a property manager, our Realtor recommended two companies to get in touch with. We called both, but never received a return call. We did a quick interned search and sent out emails to 4 other companies in Houston and called the 4 with the nicest websites. We immediately received a call back from Texas Renters. the lady's name was Mrs. Rose. She provided us with all the info I needed and if I needed anything else, she was the person to contact again. Before we knew it, she had an account rep out to our homes and we were rocking and rolling. There was no time lost. Within 2 weeks we had our first tenant and the company guaranteed that if there were any problems, they would pay to find a new tenant How cool! Well, that was 1 year ago. So far we're pleased with the service. The staff is responsive and they know our business well. Sam and Carla (the owners) have taken personal responsibility to assist us as well. We have no complaints so far and I highly recommend them.

My first contact was with Stephanie who was very nice, professional, and didn't try to make up stuff just to get money from me. She explained why it was necessary to do a consultation. Since she wasn't the licensed professional, she wasn't going to act like she know how to handle my case. Steve Fuqua was the professional assigned to my account. He is confident, fast, smart and everything you would want in someone to help you with any tax or IRS problem. I needed to establish an installment agreement. I was scared to tell the IRS all about my inheritance, and value of my business. We spent a lot of time answering all of my questions. Then, we put together a set of financials for the IRS collection lady. I was very surprised to find out that we got an agreement for less than we anticipated. He then instructed me on what I needed to do so that I didn't break the agreement and cause a bank levy. Very professional, very helpful. This is the CPA firm you want.
I have lived in Green Oak Park, a community that is serviced by VanMor properties, for 11 years. I have found the staff very courteous, helpful, and kind with handling request or concerns that I have had. I know that they are only the management company and decisions are made by the HOA board and other committees in the community. Vanmor properties only facilitates business that is delegated to them by the board of the community that they manage. Residence, by law, are sent four letters, including one certified, with a two week period between each one of those letters to correct or to respond to any violations or concerns. Vanmor also does not set HOA fees. The board does that as well as determine what those fees pay. If people get involved in their community then they will not be so misinformed.
