YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

I was horrified at the lack of care that my father-in-law received through A-med. A-Med repeatedly told the patient once you sign up with hospice you can not go to the hospital. The last week of his life he received NO CARE AT ALL. I had requested daily visits from a nurse and aide. No one came while the assigned nurse knew that his wife has dementia and could not care for him. After repeatedly failing to visit up for 3 days the nurse told us that she was shocked at how far my father-in-law had deteriorated since her last visit. This incident happened weeks before his death, and still they continued to neglect the patient. Calling a patient instead of visiting (promises broken) when the hospice team KNEW that he was on heavy doses of Morphine and in PAIN, discomfort and dehydrated. A-Meds poor care left the patient in agony in his last few days. A-Med failure in service and performance is deadly – beware-do not use service. A-Med should be ashamed!

DO NOT EXPECT THEM TO REIMBURSE MONEY TO YOU WHEN THEY PROMISED TO DO SO Karen O'Brien, the person who signed us on with Vitas hospice care on 4/9/15 told us that we might not get my dad's pain medicine in time so she asked me to purchase the medicine and Vitas will reimburse me. I gave the original receipt to the nurse at team 503 and she said she will turn it in to get it reimbursed.Since then I have tried to follow up with the nurse and team 503 to see what the status on the reimbursement every week for two months.I have called, emailed, wrote a letter to team 503, customer care and every number and person I can find in Vitas network but as of today NO ONE has contacted me regarding to my reimbursement. The person that is responsible for billing in team 503 is Liza Bailey. I have tried to reach her countless times but she could not give me an answer as to when I will receive the refund check and has ignored me for months after May.Till this date, I have not received any response back from them.
