I recently sent a "Harry Potter-type, " magic wand to my daughter that I had hand made from the leg of a Sandhill Crane. I had packed it in a wooden case I made especially for it. Ms. Damian went out of her way to help me see that it was packed properly, and had me bring it in unpacked so she could assist me in packing it correctly. She went far out of her way in assisting me, providing me with packing material at little or no charge. On my final visit there, to show her a video of my daughter unwrapping the unexpected gift, I had the opportunity to watch her service customers for over an hour. I would say she is anything but rude. She might be blunt, and for some idiots that is mistaken for rudeness. Some of us do not suffer low IQ people gently especially when they should be old enough to know how to do some of this stuff themselves. Prices? About what you would expect when a US postal stamp costs $.50 for a 1 oz letter. Nothing is inexpensive anymore, got to love those unions. I love Ms. Damian, she is a breath of fresh air.

The UPS Store
This morning about 6:30 I had a flat tire on my way to work and was able to get to the Champion (?) parking lot at US 59 and 90 (old Bill Heard Chevrolet). I cannot express my appreciation for the amount of assistance your security guard gave me. My lug wrench was too short – he had a nice long handle oneMy car was slipping off the jack – had a nice, wide base jackI tore the nozzle off my new portable air compressor trying to pump up the spare – he had a good functional compressor and helped me inflate the spare above 18 psi The manner and support he exhibited was very encouraging in my time of intense pressure (already late to work). Again, you have the right people at the right time that are very well trained and friendly. Thank you so very much for you assistance. Victor E. Big Tex Trees Nurseries
I was recently in the market for compact plants for a full sun area. I took a chance and stopped by to see what they had. Was greeted by Big Mike who made me feel like i just stoped by a best friends house. He took me on a tour making excellent suggestions. He was very knowlgeable of the plants and within a 1/2 hour I had all my needs seen to. In fact, I returned the next day and sought him out because of his personable personality and got a few more. If your looking for someone to help you and make good decisions, ask for BIG MIKE - you'll be glad you did!!!

Houston Garden Centers
I have been to Lowe's, Home Depot and Walmart, and the Houston Garden Centers surpasses by far all of their plant inventory. If you really want to find variety and good selection that is the only place you will find it. Plus I think the prices are great. I have found stuff there cheaper even than walmart, they have a great selection of herbs when they are in season. I don't know why these people complain so much. You just go and buy your stuff and that's it.

I absolutely love this Chinese restaurant. After some issues with the other Chinese restaurants that are/were in Meyerland, C Fu Yang really brings it back. The food always tastes great and is prepared very well. They get orders out pretty quickly and are very friendly. They also have meal specials for both lunch and dinner (meal, soup, eggroll, and rice), most of them under $10.

Texas FSBO/ For Sale by Owner Magazine
What a great selling and buying experience! We sold our home in three weeks for the asking price. The My Castle Team did a wonderful job of guiding us thru the whole seamless process. We bought a home using My Castle and used their rebate program to pay for our closing costs.

Tips & Advices
A plant guarantee covers the buyer that if a plant doesn’t survive the guaranteed amount of time (usually one year, but sometimes up to 5), the plant will be replaced. This does not cover annuals, which have a life cycle of only 1 year.
How often to water a grass lawn depends on the climate, the type of soil that surrounds your property, and how deep the root system of your grass grows. A general rule for watering is: every day during summer in warm climates. This rule can be modified if lawns are older, or the climate cooler. For mature well-rooted lawns, deeper but less-frequent waterings are recommended as being healthier than daily 15-minute rinses.
Fruit trees should be watered different frequency of times depending when they were planted. Younger trees, up to the second growing season, should be watered twice a week. Make sure to give up to 1 full gallon of water weekly to newly planted trees during their growing season, and more when it’s gaining  eaves. Once the tree reaches mature fruit-bearing stage, waterings can be cut back, as the roots are sunk and can find ground water.
The question of when to plant fruit trees really depends on climate. The general rules are: You should not plant fruit trees when the ground is frozen, when the peak daytime temperature is more than 90 degrees Fahrenheit, or when the forecast shows extreme weather (i.e. a tornado warning). Aside from those rules, the suggested planting times are either fall (which most people recommend) or spring (for bare-root trees).
There are many kits sold on the market that measure soil pH levels. Dyes, test strips, and electronic pH meters are all formulated to assist the home gardener. Many people choose to simply shake up soil and distilled water, and then measure the pH with a hand-held meter However, some people consider this method not very useful, and suggest using a lab for greater accuracy.
