Our Business Philosophy The objective of our business is to provide a high quality product and reliable service for our customers. We hope you will enjoy visiting our web site and using our products as much as we enjoyed providing them for you. Tim & Julia have been involved in the company since it began. We have been around since 1970. Times have been hard since the 9-11 tragedy, but I think things will turn around, they always have in the past. Port Houston Wholesale, has had its bad time too. For many years we were a beer & wine distributorship ( class "B" license ), but the state and Beer Distributor ( Class "A"license ) successfully lobbied to remove all Class "B" linceses. This would put the Class "A" license holders in full control of the beer market, basically monopolizing the market. We have been through two parnters in the past and a name change in 2004. The new name: Port Houston Bar & Restaurant Supply
2.Numbers Night Club

I started going to numbers wayyyy back and it just so happens some of my best memories so far were in that place. I think it's pretty much impossible not to have fun unless you're just totally sober, in which case you'd probably just be a little freaked out. You find all types of people there so you defiantely have to be a tolerant, but I think that's what makes it so much fun. The music is amazing, drinks are cheap, and everyone is so friendly. You definately have to experience at least one night at numbers.

Still the BEST place for salsa/merengue/bachata on Saturday night!!! La Orquesta Salmerum keeps bringing it with new music all the time...the band is impressive sounding. Thought I walked in on the DJ and it was the band playing Aguanile!! They also play at Plaza 59 (Hillcroft and 59) on Friday nights...another nice play to go check them out. Their bachata tunes also sound great with one of the musicians from the back coming up on the bachatas to sing. The restrooms are clean and the people are friendly. Latinos, asians, blacks and whites all getting along and having a good time dancing! Love it!
4.Crystal Night Club
6680 Southwest Fwy
This club is conveniently located on the intersection of Southwest Freeway and Hillcroft. The club's main entrance is located in the corner of the strip center, it was not hard to find. Parking is readily available most of the time. There are two rooms in the establishment. The smaller room has a beautiful New York style look and subway signs. The bigger area has a specious dance floor and a romantic sitting area on one side. This club seems to have a wide selection of music including techno, trance, disco, salsa, merengue and Latino pop music. The special lights and nitrogen fog system is synchronized with the music and creates an awesome feeling. The crowd seemed to be very friendly and international. Over all its a fun place to be. I will highly recommend this club to the gay community who enjoy various types dance music especially Latino. This club is definitely Houston's best kept secret.
5.The Concert Pub Sports Bar & Grill
5636 Richmond Ave
I took a couple of my sorority sisters here when they came into town and they loved it! The drinks were very good and the service was fast. We were jamming out to every song they played. I feel bad for scorpio698 but I guess things have changed for the better at the concert pub over the past 2 years. They had valet to park for us and security in the parking lot watching over the place. I thought the waitresses were very nice and all of them had a smile on their faces! My sisters and I can't wait to go back!

This place had been around FOREVER!!! Me and my buddies would go in there for happy hour, check out the people in the booths. You could tell they were up to no good. Dimmly lit and very relaxing, it's good for those people needing a little incognito time. Ice cold beer, a pretty woman, what else do you need in a bar?

This place has been through several owners since Jack Mynier opened it in the 80s, but I must say the current staff is absolutely the best. \r I called for information b/c I wanted to see an upcoming band and they went above and beyond in offering information! Great place to watch sports and who doesn't love a great game of shuffleboard??
2020 Mckinney St
Oh my goodness this club is so much fun me and my crew go every saturday at first the club was just to packed its no room to dance or anything. But since they remodeled it and expanded with the existing club next door Pashaa all that has changed. The other side of Next is so roomy and way more elegant and for a change its really cold in the club now they have way more seating room the lighting is fantastic. The drinks are way to pricy though, but really strong. I like the club though espically since it has 2 dance floors and 2 djs now. I would suggest if you havent tried next out I think you should but get there early because the line is always long and the bouncers take forever to let people in the club. Thats another thing i hate about Next is the line, the bouncers always hold the line they do it because they dont be wanna let alot of females in for free b4 11 so they hold the line first they might let 20 ppl in and then stop and we wait for like 10 minutes then they let more ppl in then they stop and so on and so forth. But besides the pricy drinks, the extensive wait in the lines this is the club to be on Saturday nite\r

When Fridays get here I am ready to go and go is what I do, straight to my favorite club Maxwells! Yes mamm this is my spot. I never have to wait more than two minutes to get in to the club there are three different clubs in that one building a mixed crowd club, a old school feel club and finally a more hip/hop new flavor with a grown and sexy vibe club and when I do come through the door, I know its about to be some fun going on that night. My first stop is the club at the back the grown and sexy club, when I walk in the bartenders & waitresses are smiling, looking really nice and ready to please the customers, I always get my favorite drinks made for me and they are delicious! The atmosphere is very nice, velvet wall seats, lots of tall bar table and even regular seating in the back. The DJ does a wonderful job at keeping the crowd jumping and he doesn't play one kind of music he plays it all from the old to the new, zodico, reggae and line music. Basically what I'm saying is I love Maxwell and whenever my little sis comes to visit me from Waco, Texas she always wants to come to my spot. It makes me feel good that I have somewhere to bring here that I am proud of in my city when she comes-.PS. the bathroom attendant is really nice and she looks out for the ladies.
1515 Pease St
This is a great bar or host to local and out of town events. This bar has been around a long time and still is the home of many lcal underground artists. The venue is open with room to dance. It has also been known to host a few small convention events. If you looking for a good place to get your name out there this is the place for you. If you love up and coming artists, local stars, great sound, unbeliveable lights and good music this is the place for you.

I don't understand why the Drake has received such bad reviews. A group of friends and I (5 of us) got in without a problem and we are not white. The door guy was really nice and courteous and so were all the bartenders. We had a blast that night... probably the funnest night Ive had in a while. The music was great and the dancing was great. All in all a wonderful evening - no complaints whatsoever!
14035 Main St
This place is grand in size. It has plenty of room to move around and mingle. The restrooms are decent. The bar is easily accessible, being off to the side of the action. Parking is as good as it gets when it comes to concert parking. There is plenty of room for your ride and it is pretty well lit with security present. I recommend attending any concert held at this venue.

Great place for foreign men. Right next door-connected to the greatest massage parlor. So come on in-the license say its private but do not let that stop you. The young staff especially next door cater to old men especially with foreign accents. So if you like to have a few drinks and like to spend your money on things the wife or girlfriend can not provide you, this is the place.

I always love to get off of work and have a blast at Whiskey with all of my friends. Great music and Drinks!! WONDERFUL RIBS!!
11925 Eastex Fwy
This club has a little bit of everything, every type of music and dancing, but mostly country, also has a upstairs bar, pool tables indoor smoking area completely away from the rest of the crowd. Also great drink prices, and the last time I was there they had a free buffet up till about 9 o'clock
11030 Kingspoint Rd Ste 14
It did not reach my expectations. I was told that it was a real fancy club, where you had to look good to get in, and stuff like that. well,........ NOT. The place is okay. The band played well. I was expecting it to be like the ""Tropicana"" on Richmond. Oh well, I had fun anyways. I danced all night long, the music was good. BUT, the DJ did not mix very well. The songs were all great; they just did not make a good transition. I believe a DJ should be able to make songs flow and transform from one to the other. Home-boy did not do this at all. But hey, the bar tenders were great. I loved the drinks, mixed very well! A (trashy-looking) chick made passes at my date the whole time, but that made it more the fun. He only had eyes for me :)
3403 Cypress Creek Pkwy Ste E
Overall the place was rocking. I visited on 08/02/2008 FRIDAY NIGHT. They were charging the ladies to get in. I wish they did not do this. Dress code should have been enforced a little more on the guys even if it means to turn away this will help the atmosphere. The dance floor is great and the music is balanced you feel it but it is not too loud. I got there at 10:30pm and the review states beer is $1 this is not the case. Cover is $5 and a beer costs $4. I also feel the a/c should have been a little cooler because the atmosphere does creat heat. I will return and write more if necessary.

Nice location, easy parking, good local bands. Only flaw is the pool table is in same area with band so no one can play pool while the band is playing. Some of us like to listen to music if we are not dancing, AND shoot pool. Nice that there is no cover charge.

They don't watch who they let in anymore! It's turning into trashy trashy, sleazy sleazy central! Girls beware! I had several hands groping me as I walked through the dance floor! EWWWWW!

Worst club ever. Kicked out for no reason. Spent over $100, waited for 30 minutes for explanation. Management sucks, music sucks, drinks are weak. Go to Stereo Live.
