YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

As usual the service was pleasant, reliable, and prompt. That's why I keep coming back--even though at my age I am not driving as much and my visits are less frequent.

3.Diamond Food Mart
12672 Veterans Memorial Dr
On the evening of 6/20/2011, between 8:45 and 9pm, I bought a half gallon of 2% reduced fat milk from the FOODMART at 12672 Veteran’s Memorial Drive. When I poured it onto my bowl of cereal the next morning (6/21/2011), I found the milk to be quite bad in both taste and smell. The ‘use by’ date on the container was 6/25. I took the milk back this morning (6/21/2011) and asked for a replacement container. I brought the second container up to the front counter, opened it, and smelled it. It also had a bad scent. The cashier gave me back the money I paid. That was nice, but I’d still lost a lot in time, gasoline and cereal. I should have been given a bottle of milk that was good, and a refund. I cannot recommend the FOODMART at 12672 Veteran’s Memorial Drive to anyone, especially for milk.

8413 Almeda Rd Ste Q3
This place has everything from Razaan/Namor hoses to Tangiers and Fantasia shisha. Excellent selection of shishas, they have just about everything you can imagine. It is the only place I know in Houston that sells Tangiers tobacco and phunnel bowls. The service is very friendly and knowledgeable. Since I've been going there, they usually give me a freebie to try out (coals and such). \r \r There has been nothing they could not do to help me with pertaining to shisha. This place is the bomb, go to it whether you're a veteran or just starting because the selection is amazing for all the things they sell. They're the only place I know that sell Khalil Mamoun Hookahs but buy them while you can because they go quick!! happy smoking. Thank you Texas Hookah for everything as I will always be coming for more.

21.Al's Quick Stop
2002 Waugh Dr
After years of stopping in to inquire about some falafel after an evening’s drink-up at Rud’s with my motorcycle group only to be told that they had stopped serving food, I finally made it! Now, I’m Spanish, which means that dinner before 6pm is unheard of, but I as this is perfectly normal for everyone else I won’t complain about it. An intense craving for gyros had harassed my tummy since I’d gone to bed the night before, so last Monday I headed over to Al’s at the unlikely hour of 11am. It was strange not to stop in at Rud’s for a pint but I reminded myself that once you go “before noon” there is no going back. Pre-lunch crowd Al’s was fairly empty save for a friendly clerk and a woman at the counter who proceeded to make our order fresh just for us! Fried to order kibbeh, oh yes, thank you, I’ll have this every day. We ordered a falafel sandwich, a lamb gyro and an order of kibbeh. Grand total? $8. Damn it, why had we not come here before?! Even better, this deliciousness is apparently all discounted by $1 each on Sundays and Tuesdays. For those that wish to dine in, Al’s does offer seating and a great selection of microbrews. The ambiance being what it is, a convenience store, we took ours home. I live just up the street and our food was still steamy hot when we unwrapped it from the foil. While the falafel was good, it paled in comparison to the tender and flavorful gyro. As a result, we fought over the gyro but since my boyfriend accused me of being “greedy with food” the insecurities of the fatty-ness that it implied compelled me to give him more of the gyro than I really wanted to. Needless to say, I am dying to go back and next time it will be on a Sunday or Tuesday.
22.Airline Food Mart

Usually good service if you get the right clerk. Decent prices, but the selection isn't that great. They stock the essentials, though, and you get more personalized attention than at a large market.
18003 El Camino Real
Accidentally over paid the cashier today. Wouldn't give my money back, called manager and he did nothing. Said he'll be there tomorrow. She was very rude from the get go. All I said was are you serious to my sister, who witnessed the entire transaction. Where the lady replied yes I'm serious in a rude, sarcastic tone. I did get angry and said some things to my sister who had left on the phone but never directly to the cashier. She laughed as I walked out. No 1800 number to call. Gave her 3 five dollar bills instead of 2 five dollar bills. No drawer recount, nothing. No phone call today. I go in quite often, never had a problem before. Everyone else including the owners are usually very polite.

Twice, I've gotten spolied merchandise ( bread and an egg-biscuit combo) on 2 seperate occasions. They routinely charge pin fees on ""credit"" transactions which differ in amount depending on who's cashiering. (Legal? I'll find out from the Texas AG,) I know some people think rank eye-watering incense and music so loud you can't hear the cashier, (and being able to buy liquor after-hours if you flip the cashier a $20) is uber-cool but this is suppose to be a convenience store which operates by health codes, etc. Save the partying for your ooh-so-cool crash pad, and go here only if you have no other options or are too drunk to notice the rip-off theme of the joint.
