YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

I agree, terrible service. Their lawn mower damaged the flower vase, beyond repair, on my family's head stone about seven months ago and still no action after several phone calls. It appears they have no plans to replace the Bronze flower vase. They do not return calls and do not follow up on promises. T. Rich the issue has been resolved. Thank you Woodlawn Management. T. Rich

I don't recommend people to let this business take care of funeral services. They don't know how to serve people professionally. If your family plan to cremate the late one, you should look for the better business instead of this one. Last time, my family had to hold back the crematory because the funeral could not get the cremation permit in a right time. The officers of this funeral did not give any apology to my family due to their causes. I have never given or recommend people for this business.

Don't recommend. My story is way to long and complicated. They took way to long and were unprepared in our meeting. My father passed away and my mother had made some changes to what they had, big mistake. However, when we went to the meeting with them to clarify and bury my father they were not helpful. If my mother didn't have the contracts and paperwork with her I don't know what they would have been capable of doing. They probably would have said we had nothing.

Teo family members have had memorial services here almost exactly 1 year apart. In each service, there have been huge audio problems. In the service about a year ago (May 2014), they began to play a song (very loudly) in the middle of a prayer. Big, screeching noises happened in the middle of the most recent service-while the minister was speaking. In the most recent service (May 2015), the microphone had dead batteries when the service started. The lady working there had to stop the sermon, walk across the chapel, and replace the batteries. That should have been checked before it started. The family requested additional seating for this second service but the lady working there said we didn't need it. At the time the service was supposed to begin, we told her the lobby was still full because there was no seating. That was when she finally agreed to add chairs. So the service started 15-20 minutes late because she was not prepared and could not read the crowd as they entered to see that she did not have enough seating for everyone. Do your loved ones a favor and find a place that can honor them with dignity and avoid these very preventable mistakes.

Brookside Funeral tried to rip me off. The funeral director told me that a regular sized casket would fit so I bought an online casket which was $4000 less than the funeral home's casket. When the funeral home received my online casket, they told me it was too small and it would not work. I returned the online casket and went to see the funeral home's casket he ordered for me the next day. When he showed it to me, I asked to see the inside so he opened it and I pulled out a tape measure and measured it. IT was EXACTLY the same size as the online casket which was $4000 less. So the funeral director lied to me so I would have to pay him the extra $4000. I threatened him and of course he quickly took his casket off my bill and I again went and picked up the online casket. DO not do business with Brookside Funeral Home. They are dishonest. Buy your casket online like I did and save $4000.
