Hello,I'm an employee in the office building located at 3151 Briarpark Drive. It has come to my attention that the manager at your restaurant located here does not always conduct herself with the proper attitude regarding customer service. I personally experienced a very sullen attitude from her after she burned the bread for a sandwich I ordered this morning. When I asked her to remake the order she slung the first order in the garbage and had a attitude when I asked her to properly toast the bread for the second order because it wasn't toasted. If you work with the public good customer service is not an option it's a requirement. I've spoke with other coworkers who have said they don't like going there. I can understand why.Clement Wilkins
Very near and dear to my heart. Their po' boys have been my favorite food since the 1970s. I could eat them every single day and never, ever get burnt out. My 82 year old mother (who is also a native Houstonian), still talks often about how they had to have a cop direct traffic at lunchtime back when they were at their original location on Taft Street. I have fond memories of going there as a small child and being in complete awe (who knows why) of the wooden Indian that stood at the door. I was always compelled to touch it (again, who knows why! lol.) I truly feel sorry for those who aren't aware of the difference between the ORIGINAL Antone's and the "fake" one. Shameful. There is just NO comparison.
Owner tried to bring some atmosphere with music. But being a Turkish born person, I found it really low in quality. I tried the Gyro. It almost tasted like ground beef, no flavor, dry and also pricy. Gyro itself costed $10. Tried baby lahmacun. You can believe how small it is, it should beat world record. 2 pieces came each as big as coin. I wish I could have taken its picture. Also bought cig kofta- made with uncooked ground beef. I had diarrhia for few days. Never recommend to anyone. Instead of having their gyro, go order Fadi's shawarma with a side at $7.99. At least it has flavor, not dry and comes with a side (babaganosh, or hummus)
This is an original, and I mean original Houston lunch spot for almost 60 years! Been coming here and turning people new in Houston to the best potato salad recipe on the planet! It's a local joint with seating for five patrons. Healthy portions of rich fresh deli meats on your sandwich. Great deviled eggs, sandwiches always served with crunchy ice cold dill pickle spears. Fresh and pricey and well worth every penny!!
This Place is astonishing. It is full with all kinds of middle eastern grocerys. The place is well stocked and very clean. Staff is very helpful and friendly. They also have a middle eastern restaurant in the store. I had the mixed grill kabob plate. The food tasted very good. They are also working on a bakery inside that will sell fresh breads. This place is an all in one. I will definitely come back.
This place ROCKS!!! A cozy authentic Greek Deli that caters to your every need. I am gluten free and they are well versed in what that means. They make me GFREE dishes always. The Greek chicken salad is amazing and the food is so fresh. The owners take such pride in their deli and know the majority of their daily lunch customers. Check out Stalla's next time your near 620/290 area. Great find!
I enjoy eating at Murphy's Deli at Chimney Rock at least once a week and every weekend! It is conveniently located, and the food is guaranteed fresh and excellent. The staff is also friendly, including the new owners. I would recommend you try their sandwiches if you have not.
Just got take out from here! Best Chinese I have had in Bear Creek and I have tried every place. They offer Combos at dinner time for $6.75 and portions are huge. We had cheese puffs and 3 dinners with soup and fried rice for $27. We will be back for take out!
My neighborhood little Latin foods store. I love how they always have fresh, ripe avocados at the cashier table. They also have fresh, warm corn tortillas. They have some pan dulce. All the cremas from Mexico, San Salvador & Honduras. Nice meat market too.
A long time friend and I met for lunch here and then I introduced my coworkers. We are hooked! Fresh food, friendly service, and fast delivery. Only $20 minimum for delivery. We order at least once or twice a week! The prices are very reasonable too
