YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

This store is well staffed but still manages to provide slow service. I came in looking for two books for class. I went to the register desk first but the one staff member they had there was wrapping gifts. Once he finally did get to me he was 'unable' to look them up and sent me to the customer service desk. They only have two computers back there yet have a four people staffed in that area?? Anyways, I finally get helped and the guy tells me my books are on hold at the front, where I had just come from, and to go back to them to get my books. So I go back to the front and the guy, in this very snarky tone, says 'I already looked and there was nothing under your name.' So I tell him someone from the service desk sent me and that they asked me to come check. So he ask for my name again. I tell him. He finds my books, miraculously. The employees at the B&N are unobservant, unattentive, and really need to work in their customer service skills. As another waiting customer said to me as we both waited to be recognized, it was not only the fact that they couldn't help us in a timely fashion but also that they made no attempt to say 'I'll be right with you' or 'Give me a few minutes ma'am.' They choose instead to wait to service us until a computer opened up with out even recognizing that we were there. If you can, choose another B&N to go to.

Despite being one of the better locations at one point, this Barnes & Noble has gone pretty far downhill over the past year. After going through several layout changes, their selection had started to dwindle. Eventually it started to fall behind other stores and has since lost it's Starbucks cafe. As a result of losing the cafe, the atmosphere has started to change quickly. Nowadays I can barely stand being in the magazine section due the eerie silence. The changes in layout were also very inconvenient and can take some time getting used to. There also seems to be fewer workers here, which can complicate finding assistance. Finally, one of the biggest pet peeves myself and many others seem to have about this place is their lack of adequate seating. There doesn't seem to be enough seating to go around and what seating is available is now inconveniently located on one side of the store, this is not typical at other locations. As a result of the lack of seating, there is also a problem with people sitting on the floor and blocking the aisles; having workers telling them to move doesn't seem to help either, as there are no other places for them to go. Despite all the negatives, this store is still probably worth going to for a number of reasons. The biggest reason is it's convenient location, second to this is the fact that even a bad Barnes & Noble can beat out most competitors in terms of selection. Also, this Barnes & Noble is conveniently located to a number of businesses such as Best Buy, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Shish Kabob Cafe among others. Overall, I think that this location could continue to fall and may go out of business soon.. however I don't think it's too late to be saved and with some effort this place can be greatly improved and make a huge comeback.
