This was the 3rd vehicle that I have purchased from Merchants and like the other times before it, it was a very enjoyable experience. I had the privilege of working with Bob Donati, who took the time and listened to all my concerns and helped guide me towards possible alternatives for me to explore. After test driving three cars, I decided to buy a 2011 VW Jetta. Not only am I completely satisfied with the car itself, but Bob was able to fulfill all the requirements that I had on my checklist while remaining under budget. Everyone at the entire dealership was nothing but professional, friendly, and extremely accommodating. I would highly recommend working with Bob Donati and the Merchants Auto team when buying your next car! From the immense selection of vehicles, depth of knowledge of the sales force, and the genuineness of all its employees, I am a customer for life!

I went into this place after the sudden death of my old car, needing one desperately in the next 24 hours so I could commute to work. Peter Phaneuf was my sales rep and not only was he very nice and helpfull over the phone, but he did everything possible to make sure I got a car I could afford that had everything I needed. He answered every one of my silly questions (this was my first time financing a car) and was very personable, kind, as well as funny. I'm pretty sure if I had needed driving lessons to get the car off the lot, he would have provided them. I'm extremely happy with the service and the car, which I'm sure will last a very long time. And when this one does go, I'm definitely going back to Merchants auto.

I had the fortune of working with Ryan Spada when I recently purchased my 2013 Equinox. Ryan spent a considerable amount of time with me on my first visit showing me all the vehicles in my interest category. He did not waste my time showing me anything that was outside of my expectations. After the initial night I went home to weigh the options on the 3 vehicles I narrowed it down to. He did not try and persuade me into either one he let me make up my own mind. Which I found awesome for him to do. After making up my mind and returning to purchase Ryan went above and beyond all ceilings to get me the best rate and the best terms for me personally. Fantastic salesmen to work with.

This was my first experience with Merchants, and I was not disappointed. I went into the dealership with payment expectations realistic with my household income, and they wholeheartedly honored this without hassle. By far, this has been the least complicated, most fastidious vehicle purchase I have ever had. Andre was absolutely wonderful with negotiating and navigating this process. In addition, I ended up getting the vehicle I wanted at the price I wanted with excellent customer assistance. Please accept my most sincere thanks for this experience. I have already referred someone to purchase a vehicle (which they have) and intend to refer others that may ask.

My Husband and I just purchased our second car from Andre Liqui. We had a wonderful experience when we bought the truck and it was just as great of a experience with the Rogue. It was Andre's traffic follow up well after the sale that had us coming back to him to buy the second car. We have even recommended our son and our daughter to go see Andre once they are ready to purchase a new ride. Andre truly listened to our needs/wants and really cares more about his customers cares then making a sale, which simply put makes him a gem to work with. Thank you, Andre

After trying 2 other dealerships with unsatisfactory sales people we ended at Merchants. Met at the door by Zach who immediately turned our day around. Positive attitude and quick to get the kids entertained so we could shop. We had a specific vehicle we were looking for and there was so messing around trying to get us to look at others. Zach presented a few options in various price ranges, brought the vehicles to us to compare and worked with us to get the right one into our price range. Next time, we will be starting at Merchants!

This is the second time I have been to Merchants Auto. I was here with my son two months ago and the experience with him was go satisfying that I came back for myself. I came today thinking I would walk away with the same vehicle that I dorove in with but the Wizards here worked their magic and I have a new car that I am extremely satisfied with. The sales agent, Mike Amburg, was genuinely interested in me and my situation and made everyting work along with Tim in finance. I can't express my gratitude enough. THANK YOU MIKE AND TIM

After encountering multiple obstacles and frustrations at other dealerships, I walked into Merchants Auto discouraged and hesitant about what was to come. However, from the minute I pulled in, to the moment I left, their hospitality made my experience beyond enjoyable. Zach Goldman was incredible. Happened to be in Manchester one day and I decided to go into Merchants auto, since they have such a wide selection of cars, and get an idea of what's out there today. Ryan Spada met me on the lot, he was great! Ryan appreciated that I was just looking, very unsure of what I was looking for. He took the time to listen and try to decifer what I was thinking. After looking at 15 cars and testing driving a few, I went home. I did a little comparing online and returned 2 days later. Great service. NO pressure.

Just purchased a 2013 Mazda 3 from Mark Chartrand at Merchants. I can't say enough good things about my experience! Among the common scams pulled are needless repairs, where a garage charges you for work that isn't necessary. Another popular one is attracting customers through a cheap oil change or tire pressure check. Then, when you your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill. The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done so you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out.
