Target Auto Repairs is not a fancy place, but a clean, organized and trustworthy place to bring your car for any type of service. No bull, just straight forward answers from the owner Mr. Jeff Cohen, who has been there for many years. He owns the building where his repair shop is located so he is going nowhere on you. But most important, after he gives me the best price possible, obviously he needs to make expenses and make a living, Mr. Cohen is always there, either supervising the work to make certain it is done correctly, or doing the work himself. He is just a very nice gentleman, very professional, respectful, knowledgeable and caring. While I was there last time a few days ago, waiting for my car, a man walked in to pick up his car after the work was done and Mr. Cohen told the man that the price he had given him for the repair was a little bit less than the estimated price. The man said wow great, Thank you. That action again, confirms what I always thought of Mr. Cohen, very fair, very trustworthy, just a nice family man, which happens to treat his customers as his own kids.Thank you Mr. Cohen for keeping my car in great repair at a great price always. Respectfully, Carlos Gutierrez.

They came to where my dead car was for cheaper than a jump from another shop!! And very reasonable rate! Thanks so much Jeff! I work in downtown Fort Lauderdale and will refer all of my co-workers and friends to your company and your quick, knowledgable and courteous service. Thankfully I didn't have to rely on my former boyfriend to help me with my auto repair needs! Steves Transmission
I bought a used transmission for my Honda Element which was installed by a certified mechanic but it never worked. I took my car to Steve's Transmission. They pulled out the transmission that I was sold and found out that it was a 5 speed transmission for an Acura RSX and not a 4 speed automatic transmission for a Honda Element. Steve's rebuilt my old 03 Honda Element transmission back in 8/22/2014. They towed my car from my home to their shop, explained to me what was going to be done and showed me what parts were going to be replaced which is rare at many shops these days. Fast courteous service. In on Friday and out on Saturday. Great price with a warranty. Two years pass and 33,000 miles later and still running like new with no issues. I couldn't ask for more. I would recommend to friends and family. Thank goodness there are a few good honest business people left in this world.

I've been bringing my cars to Jeff and his team at Target Auto for many years now.It is really worth meeting him just for the smiles you get while chatting with him.His prices are reasonable plus he offers coupons on his web page. http://targetautorepair.com/ He is old fashioned very humble buddy type of mechanic that has never tried to up sell me with unnecessary repairs such as suggesting I replace my flux capacitor "because it looks like it could go at anytime".Usually, when I bring my car in for a repair that 'I know' I need, Jeff has suggested that maybe it needs something not as involved ... Very rarely does an owner mechanic ever down sell suggested needed services. With Target Auto Repair I can say that I have never had to worry that something else might go wrong after a servicing or repair because for over 10 years now nothing ever has.

At Target Auto Repair, you will find a trustworthy, reputable mechanic for your car and a new friend. The owner, Jeff, is extremely personable and helpful. My son attends grad school about a dozen hours away from home. Not only did Jeff solve his recent car problems, but also invited my son to call if he ever needed a stand-in parent in a pinch--for whatever reason! (My daughter is flying to FL for spring break in a few weeks & if her brother forgets to pick her up at the airport, I'll be calling Jeff!) Seriously, don't be lured by competitors with their coupons for $13 oil changes. My son almost ended up with that deal, but fortunately the waiting room was full and he headed to Target Auto Repair instead. The 1st establishment had quoted $103 for the first hour to diagnose the problem with his broken hazard lights. Jeff fixed them for $20.

This is the most INCREDIBLE mechanic shop in the planet! I own a 2001 honda civic that is always needing repairs. They have repaired my struts, brakes, A/C, and this last time was the evaporator. They do it all! When Jeff and his team evaluate my car, I know I am getting THE TRUTH of what needs repairs. He will even get in there and show you first hand what the problem is/was. Target Auto's rate are honest and you get so much more than you pay for! Yami, his secretary, is quick to answer the phones, very personal/kind, and keeps you updated with the repairs. Target Auto's turn around time is also exceptional. There is NO ONE else better in the industry than Target Auto. If you are looking for an honest, hard working, QUALITY, and quick mechanic with honest prices then search no more. I and my family will ONLY use Target Auto.

Xtreme Automotive Repairs Inc
Xtreme Auto Repair’s (XAR), with mechanics Alonzo and Eddie took care of a required maintenance and provided me with excellent service. I was given a reasonable quote which included a warranty. Since the repair might take a while, they made arrangements for a rent a car (Hertz) for me. During the repair a part was accidentally broken and the mechanics immediately contacted me, replaced the part, and would take care of the extended rental if needed. I have on occasion, had to deal with people on the word of friends that have screwed me over, never actually replaced the parts or damaged my vehicle even worst! So I am happy to say that I am 100% satisfied with Xtreme Auto Repair’s friendly customer service, excellent communication and trustworthiness. Xtreme Auto Repair will be my auto repair shop of choice.

Since I first talked to Jeff I knew I could trust my car with him , cause he told me what was the plan to get my car fix, he told me that he will keep me posted if any changes would of happen and he did ... We exchange several emails back and forward letting me know how was the repair going , that's what costumer service is all about , the communication between the shop with its costumers and Jeff really did a hell of a job ...I definitely recommend Target Auto Repais for any mechanical problem u have cause for sure Jeff and his team will take good care of you !!!Thanks Jeff ...

Hollywood Chrysler Jeep
I recently purchased a vehicle from Hollywood Jeep Chrysler and was so pleased with the quality of service that I felt compelled to share my experience with potential customers. Having owned cars for over 30 years, I can easily distinguish between dealerships that care and those that don't. I have yet to find another dealership that has demonstrated a higher level of dedication towards the customer experience than Hollywood Jeep Chrysler. Any body can take your money, it's how they make you feel after they deposit your check that matters. For those of you that care, Hollywood Jeep Chrysler is the best! A big shout out to Manager Jeff Silverberg and the rest of his team.
Tips & Advices
Depending on the part and its overall quality, a good amount of money can be saved by purchasing aftermarket parts versus OEM parts. But aftermarket parts that are low in price might also be lower in quality and could do more harm than good to your car, or they may need to be replaced more frequently than a more expensive counterpart. This could lead to saving some money in the short term, but spending more than anticipated in the long term.
The type of tires being purchased is the most significant determinant of their price. SUV tires are more costly than average car tires. And high-performance tires are more costly than economy grade tires. On average, standard tires for an average-sized vehicle are around $100 per tire. Standard tires for an SUV are around $150 and pick-up truck tires are about $200 on average. Some dealers offer discounts if purchasing more than one tire.
Car inspections typically take about an hour. However the wait time can be longer depending on how busy the shop is. Call ahead for an appointment to avoid long wait times.
Depending on the manufacturer, certain aftermarket parts can be just as reliable as Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts. But one item within a vehicle, like oil filters for instance, could have multiple manufacturers and there could be inconsistencies in quality among them.
Costs of replacing a windshield can vary greatly depending on a variety of factors:
  • Vehicle make and model
  • How much of the cost insurance will cover
  • Whether the windshield installers come to your location or you bring the vehicle to them
  • Standard service costs of the windshield installers
Generally, newer and higher-end vehicles cost more to have their windshields replaced because certain manufacturers use modified or proprietary glass types.
