I found Gordon in the Gun library to be very helpful and knowledgeable when I was there last week! Exceptional service!

Did not have good experience this year, better last year. we went to have my daughter re-fitted and get new pairs for crosscountry season , the staff just measured her feet for size, they did not check her stride and arches as they did very thoroughly last year. the staff decided that size 7 of the same brand last year was a fit for her, they wer comfortable at that time but when my daughter used them for practice they killed her feet, because they were too big. we asked for 61/2 but theyre not available on that particular shoes . im guessing that they were not available then thats why they sold us size 7, theyt did not even bother to try different brand that fit her right, today she went for practice w/ her old shoes w/c she almost injured her feet, I thought we were in the hand of professionals as my daughters coach recommended. but i felt that the particular staff just wanted to sell us the shoes that day. FYI: i would give 5 stars last year's experience

Nice selection, good customer service, but prices are HIGH, which is why I am only rating them 3 stars. If you don't mind excessive transfer fees ($50) and steep prices on guns, Cabela's is good. But if you're a newbie to guns, Cabela's has friendly staff to get you through the process of owning your first gun.

gun staff is nothing but old cranks. If you aren't interested in a revolver or lever action rifle they don't have the time of day for you. None of them are willing to move on from the "guns that won the west" to more modern guns that won the cold war or the middle east.

Just a moment...
