YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

I was taken by ambulance from a cruise ship because of shortness of breath and acutebronchitis. After spending several hours in the ER (which is common anywhere), I was takento a regular room sometime around 6:00 p.m. My double room was attended by a studentnurse; upon arrival at my room, I asked for a glass of ice water. For 3-1/2 hours I continuedto ask for water - and did not receive it until becoming as irate and insistent as I was able tobe in my medical condition. At that point, I was visited for the first time by the nurse supervising the student and told that my behavior was unacceptable and that they would be happy to cooperate if I would only cooperatewith them. This occurred during my first evening there; frankly, the next four days were not much of animprovement. My utmost concern was the lack of sanitation - I will not go into detail, butit was not only lack of cleanliness, but even involved human waste. I truly believe thatI was in much more danger there than if I had remained on the ship being attended by theship doctor.

I was there visiting my daughter and granddaughters this March. I got extremely ill on the flight over and when I arrived I I ended up being bedridden. After two days coughing and sweating, my daughter took me to the Honokaa Hospital. The emergency room staff were very friendly and courteous. They made me as comfortable as they could. The doctor, Kamehameha (I know), was very professional and informative. Turns out I had a combinatin of bronchitis and flu. Lovely. LOL If I never have to go back to the hospital again I won't be disappointed, but I was very impressed with their care.
