Triple J Plumbing Inc
I purchased a home that had been forclosed for some time. Needless to say, I have encountered a number of problems. Triple J Plumbing came referred from a trusted friend and they have done numberous jobs around the house. The are trustworthy, affordable, prompt and honest. They always give me a couple options to choose from and I feel that they can be trusted. Its very hard to come by real professionals in miami-dade county, I would definately recommend this company to anyone!

Triple J Plumbing Inc
Normally I do most of my plumbing work around the house: faucet replacement and repairs, toilet related stuff, electric water heater replacement, etc. Now, I can no longer carry out these chores for health reasons. In other words, i know pretty much how much work and difficulty is entailed by various house plumbing tasks. I want to leave on long awaited vacation and suddenly I had a couple of urgent plumbing matters to take care of. I called four different local companies--wow, I was dumbfounded by the prices I was quoted---way, way out of line. I asked a relative who recommended Triple J very highly. I figure....anyhow, I called them yesterday , I was quoted prices for the items I detailed--mind you, over the phone (!). One young fellow, Jorge, promptly showed up today, as promised, with the water heater I needed to replace. He handled the installation in a totally professional matter, and equally the other item I requested replacing. He was pleasant--and sufficiently confident to let me watch him do the work. Look, it you are looking for a fair price and well-done job call this company. I certainly contemplate calling them next time I need any plumbing work done around my house.

Neighbors Plumbing Inc.
This is the company you want to call: ethical, professional, and very responsive, I live in Doral and was having trouble with my home's piping. They responded within an hour, and the plumber they sent fixed the problem promptly. They did not try to sell me anything nor did they made up additional problems. Trust me, this company is the one you want to call.

Westland Plumbing
This company is completely unreliable, would not recommend to my worst enemy. I live in a condo and had to order a water shutdown that would affect 13 floors so Westland plumbing could do their work. This was on a Friday now it's Tuesday and the plumber never bothered to call for cancellation. Neither the plumber nor Westland which I imagine is subcontracting this man will respond. The leak is so bad I can't leave the house and I have to work so I had to call for emergency service which will cost a fortune. Avoid this company at all cost.

Tips & Advices
  • Are you licensed and registered?
  • Are you insured and bonded?
  • How many years have you been in business?
  • What, if any, professional associations do you belong to?
  • May I have a list of references?
  • Do you offer a written warranty for your work?
  • Will I need a permit for this work?
It is important to have a written warranty for any work or repairs done to the plumbing in your house, especially if it is a major repair. Look for a professional  who is willing to  stand by his or her work.
Before you hire a plumber, contact their past customers if you're able to. These people can be a wealth of information if you ask them the right questions. Pose the following queries to these former patrons when you get the chance:
  • Were you pleased with the work done?
  • Was the project completed on time?
  • Did the plumber give you a written warranty and guarantee his or her work?
  • Were there any unexpected costs that arose?
  • Would you hire this plumber again? If not, why?
A permit provides added assurance that the work is done correctly. Having this in place means an inspector will check the work your contractor or plumber does to ensure he or she did the job correctly. If you plan on putting your house or commercial building on the market, a real estate agent and prospective buyers will want to check any large work you did to make sure it was done properly.
A trustworthy plumber will have both commercial liability insurance as well as be bonded. The insurance and the bond protects the plumber from paying for any damages made to your house out of pocket. Having professionals that carry both of these policies can protect all of you from any mishaps that could occur while they work on your building.
