I have used HEW for over 7 years at various times and have always found their service to be excellent. They have been very responsive and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend them.
I dropped off 2 items for Embroidery on 7.24.08 to get a name on each item. When called with the total on 7.30.08, I stated the price seemed really high. I remarked they were higher than other vendors. But they were convienent to my place of employment. When I picked up items on 7.31.08, 1 was incorrect. I paid for the items prior to receiving them in hand. I explained the problem, Judy read back the instructions she wrote, which were correct. The item did not reflect her hand written instructions. I was told they would fix by the following day. I called late the next evening and spoke with the Vice President Mr Bowman (?) @ 2:45PM on 8/01. Who stated that my item would not be available until Monday. I asked if I would be compensated for the error and delayed delivery. He asked if I was the same person that complained about price. I stated I was, he immediately began yelling at me. He stated I was rude and why did I keep coming back. I was told not to bring my buisness back. I told him this was still the same item, I had not received it yet. He would not let me speak, I tried to explain that I had yet to complain. I had every right to do so, but had not at this point, I only asked for compensation for an incorrect item and late delivery. He would not listen and continued to speak over me. He further stated he did not care if I ever brought my business to him. That the customer is NOT always right. Then he hung up on me. I have never been treated so badly as a consumer.
