First time to this bike shop, Dave was very helpful and even checked my Trek bike for me at no charge. The store was very professional looking much to choose from, I would very much recommend this bike shop for your needs.. The large map with the various bike trails was very helpful...

An excellent bike shop; the only shop I could find in the Southeast with the bike I was looking for (Trek Earl). Very personable salesperson (Les) took the time to fit me on this bike even though it's one of their least expensive models, and found a way to load it so I didn't have to make an extra trip. Drove all the way from Birmingham to pick up this bike, even though we have good bike shops here. Friendly, personal service. Highly recommended.

I just called the Hermitage location with a question regarding my mtb and adjusting its rear suspension. He asked me what kind of bike I had, and when I told him, he replied by saying "that's a wal mart bike and we dont service Walmart bikes." Personally I was surprised to hear such disrespect for another rider's gear. I was told that this store in particular was very friendly. I may not have the best bike, but I can say that when I decide to upgrade my ride, Bike Pedlar Hermitage will not be a store I consider. I would have gladly brought my bike in for service and paid advice, but I cannot abide in spending my money at some elitist shop that turns it's nose up at beginner bikers.

Word to the wise Bike Pedlar Hermitage; it's not wise to insult customers. they go elsewhere and so does their recommendation

Word to the wise nashville riders who are int he market for new gear or wheels; steer clear of this place.

    p.s.

I would love to ride with that rude employee and see what he has...

Within the past year, we have had our old bikes fixed, tube replaced, you name it. Although these bikes were not high end bikes, the guys at the Bike Peddler were always very accomodating and made us (especially our kids) feel that they were very important customers.

Since our original visit, we have now purchased 4 bikes on differnet occaisions from this store. We have primarily dealt with Bart and could not have been more pleased. There is no hard sell or pushy tactics...they simply highlight the benefits of the available options and let you make the decision.

We made our last purchase this past weekend, now all 4 of our kids have eihter Trek or Mirraco bikes. This past weekend we went to the hermitage store, the West End Store and we even visited Cumberland Transit as well. After visiting all three locations, I can 100% guarantee we will buy our next bike from either the Hermitage or West End Bike Peddlers.

Went in knowing the line of products offered. Stayed twenty minutes and never got acknowledged. Petrsonn at the front counter took care of one customer and disappeared. After about 10 minutes I walked back toward the service area. Saw two employees. Nothing. Then a woman and her daughter (?) came in about some work they either had done or needed odne and both of these employees were very attentive to them. I finally gave up and left.

Dear snaveekram, I sincerely apologize for your experience at our store. We pride ourselves in great customer service. We want our customers to have a fantastic, not average, experience. Reviews under our former name, Jolly Cyclist, indicate that. However, I understand fully how your experience would prompt you to rate us one star. You obviously didn't get the experience you deserved and should have gotten. I hope you'll contact me and allow me to personally make amends. As manager of this store the buck stops here. Your business, as is everyone's, is appreciated. You are the reason we are in business and I hope you'll find it within yourself to return. Perfection we'll never achieve, but perfection we do strive for. Sincerely, H.A. Hearn Store Manager Bike Pedlar Hermitage
