Dr Brad Wilson
I lived in TN 3 years ago and started seeing Dr. Wilson then for hip and back pain. He treated me for a year and then I moved to FL. I was under another pain management doctor for a year and a half. I decided I would rather drive up to Hendersonville for treatment with Dr. Wilson instead of anyone else. His manner, kind and caring; his explained actions, easily understandable with all questions answered so I knew what was going on; and his concern for my well being were clearly evident. He has the demeanor, the compassion and understanding of my pain that in my experience, few other can or even bother to achieve. He is the ultimate health care professional. He is most highly recommended.

I have been in pain management for over 5 years. I started going to the Hendersonville practice less than a year ago after my PM stopped taking my health insurance. I called when I had some dental issues about taking my meds differently and was given the OK. I since received a letter that I was being discharged AFTER calling and getting permission. I called a few times to discuss where communication broke down and request a meeting or at lease a phone call with either the Dr. and PA. No one would EVER call me back. It has been 6 weeks and I am still upset because I've always followed the rules and regulations!!!!

Dr Brad Wilson
Dr. Wilson is very thorough when explaining his treatment plan with me. He always address' any issues or concerns that I may have, and I am left feeling that I am in good hands. He has done several injections on me, to provide pain relief and migraine relief. He always makes sure to walk me through the process and explains what he is doing as he is doing it. I have every confidence in him. His staff always greet me with a smile and are very agreeable to work with.

Tips & Advices
Several forms of pain management exist that are not approved typically treated by physicians or covered by health insurance plans. These include therapies like acupuncture, for example, or herbal preparations sold in stores. Before beginning any form of treatment or medication not approved by a doctor, it’s a good idea to still reach out to a physician or expert in alternative medicine for advice, or conduct some research online first.
Managing pain in children can be complicated, as kids may have more difficulty communicating their pain to doctors. Children also need to be more carefully monitored when taking most medications.
Health insurance might cover a selection of approved pain management therapies. Every insurance plan is different, so patients should check with their provider to make sure.
Patients might be instructed to continue therapy at home, either through regular exercise or specific treatment. Some people also find that getting frequent rest, taking warm baths or avoiding certain foods, for example, can help manage pain.
Side effects depend on the exact drugs and dosages used, as well as the disease being treated and many other factors. Some pain-relieving drugs, especially opioids, are known to cause drowsiness. Many antidepressants also cause a variety of adverse effects. Doctors must work closely with patients to minimize these side effects in the course of treatment.
