My mom stopped by their shop today because her car has been shaking for awhile. She has been very busy lately and due to her schedule and her never ending bills she hasnt really had the time or money to stop by a mechanic to see what was wrong. She is a Grandmother of four and she has one on the way. I am a Single mom to a 3 year old boy and my mom is a lifesaver. She helps me out so much by watching my son, and with rides to get diapers and grocerys since I had lost my car on Maternity leave.Today it was inevitable that she had to stop because it was getting much worse. It turned out they were supposed to be closed two hours prior to her pulling up but the guys found the time away from their lives and their family to help her out anyways. Her tire was split open on the inside of the tire suprisingly it hadn"t blowen yet. With the weather lately were so greatful it hadnt. Two handsom men helped my mom and I dont want to even think about what could have happened. Those guys are Angels and they"ve helped us out more than they know. Weve been trying to do the best we can since my Dad passed right before my son was born and its people like them that the world need more of. Honest people with a big heart.

Autoworx
I've dealt with a lot of auto shops, dealer shops and garages , and Autoworx is as good as the very best of them... Having worked with tools my whole life I can tell when people like as well as know what they are doing, and these folks clearly do... We have an older Tundra and an older Honda, and Autoworx has done considerable work on both.... In every case they have communicated clearly and competently about the issues, have given good quotes, and have always been accurate in regards to what things will cost... If something additional turns up they let us know... When there was an issue with some work they did, they listened carefully, check it out, and remedied what was going on quickly and competently without any additional charges...They are also really nice people, caring and courteous, and actually fun to be around and engage with... I highly recommend them to anyone needing work done on their vehicle...

Presley Automotive
My sister and brother in-law were visiting from out of town. They got here late Friday night and said they thought they were having problems with their brakes. Saturday we must have called 7 places trying to find someone to work on or if needed replace their brakes. At eleven o'clock Saturday we reached Mark at Presley automotive. He offered to stay and wait for us until we could get there. My brother in-law from Thomasville was so impressed with Mark and his caring attitude toward someone who would not be a repeat customer because of being from another area.. Mark did a good job, was reasonably priced and exceeded our expectations. In honesty we were at his mercy yet we were treated like family. I was asked to please share the story. Mark gave exceptional service and exhibited exemplary customer service. Thank you.

Robs Automotive service
One Seriously Awesome MechanicI usually don't write reviews, but in the case of Rob's Automotive service, I felt I had to. I'm not from Hendersonville, but was purchasing a car there. I needed a good mechanic to look over the car I wanted to purchase. As luck would have it, I discovered Rob's Automotive service. Rob is a super nice guy and went out of his way to put aside what he was doing to look over my car. Let me tell you something, I have never seen a car inspected more closely. Not only did he inspect it, he showed me everything so I would totally understand what needed to be done to that car. I was so impressed with Rob that I will drive my newly purchased used car to him for all future repairs, because I know he knows what he is doing. Do yourself a favor, if you need a good mechanic, go see Rob.

Robs Automotive service
Rob is the most amazing reliable HONEST man out there. He has never steered me wrong. Realizing I'm a single mom he's gone out of his way to make sure he finds the most cost effective parts for my repairS. I can not tell you how much I trust this man and his workmanship. I have referred several people to him and they too would agree. You will never go to another shop once Rob's had your car. Quick note my VW dealership wanted to charge me $867 for the 50,000 mile check, Rob did all the manufacture suggested work for under $300. I LOVE HIM!!!!! (sorry to his wife but he's a great guy). 1st Gear Transmissions And Drivetrains
These are honest people. I took my 10 year old Camry in with some issues and expected the need for a major repair, which they could have sold me, but after the diagnosis, turned out I needed some repairs but not a complete overhaul. I appreciate their honesty and I had my car back in 3 days.
Tips & Advices
Among the common scams pulled are needless repairs, where a garage charges you for work that isn't necessary. Another popular one is attracting customers through a cheap oil change or tire pressure check. Then, when you your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill. The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done so you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out. Also, clean out fan ducts and other ventilation sources necessary for summertime driving.
Some fixes to your car can be done without paying a specialist. Issues like replacing oil and air filters are relatively simple, with instructions provided in the owner's manual on how to make these changes. The same goes for replacing broken windshield wipers or burnt-out headlights. Such issues should be repaired quickly to guarantee safety, but don't require a visit to a garage.
Yes. Not every type of auto repair work needs to be done by a certified mechanic. You can fix some of a vehicle's issues just by paying attention to how the automobile is running and having a basic understanding of auto repair. Look over the ways weather may impact your car and what preventative measures you can take to avoid having to take it into the shop.
