OMG...this lawyer is simply amazing! i had 2 lawyers before him....after the interview we got a long long letter from the immigration...our case wasn t looked that good...they were planing to deny our request... i was really sad as it looked like we have to leave the country soon...and then i found him on the internet i read a lot of really good review and asked an appointment...He is more than professional...he immediately knew what we have to do what kind of papers missing...and btw he never ever watched the time...he spend with me as much time as the case needed to put together perfectly...if he takes a case he put 100% in or more i never felt that someone take my case this seriously! and less than 2 weeks work he won our case and me and my kids are waiting for our green card!!!!!i can strongly recommend him!

Karen H Greene-Lewis ESQ
I originally had a consultation at her office that no one showed up for. After 30 minutes of calling the phone number they had listed that answered as an "unmonitored mailbox at Expedia" I left. I wrote a review stating that she was unprofessional for making an appointment she didn't keep. Days later, I was contacted by Karen saying there was an "office emergency" and that she would come meet with me at my office and so we met and she was hired on as my attorney. During the four months that she represented me, she attended a court date with results that were not imposed on the insurance company. Each time I called, I wasn't able to speak to Karen but rather got bounced around from Brittany to Clair to Ana. When I disagreed with what was determined by the adjuster, I called only to be told "we don't want to piss the insurance company off" and so we did whatever the insurance company advised. Doesn't that defeat the purpose of having an attorney? There were referrals that sat for 3-4 weeks after approved because the firm didn't bother to follow up unless I was on their case about it. I was calling the adjuster myself and they threatened to resign then if I didn't stop going around them but if they did their job, I wouldn't have to. This continued for a while until I called to speak about the case and was verbally attacked by a rabid Clair. She was retaliating against me for the review 9months old) saying if I didn't change it, they would refuse to represent me. She stated "My dog was sick the day of your consult and I gotta be honest, if it comes down to my dog or you, it's gonna be my dog every time". I asked to speak to Karen and of course she was not available. She called back and shouted over me telling me my original review had her blood boiling; that she was so upset that she couldn't guarantee she was providing grade A service. I allowed her to resign because her emotions were clearly more dominant than her professional logic.

David Bindrup Law Firm
We paid $3,000 for a family trust and we were verbally abused by David Bindrup when we had to point out all the errors his attorney wife, Katie Bindrup, had made in drafting our trust. Mrs Bindrup admitted losing the our email with the successor trustee information. Instead of calling us she just put her husband, David Bindrup, as one of our successor trustees instead of the trust company we had requested. When we wrote down the name of the trust company so she could correct our trust she still got the name wrong. Unfortunately, we did not notice the error until we went to the bank to change the name on our account. Also, the documentation she had given us to present to the bank was not what Bank of America required to change our account to the new trust. Mrs Bindrup said we could pick up our original trust in 3 weeks. 6 weeks later and several phone calls still no trust and we had already paid them in full! I finally demanded we be given our trust and asked for David Bindrup's name be removed where ever it appeared in our trust because and our heirs would not be using his services. Way too much aggravation! The next day Mr Bindrup called and asked to met with us in order to give us the trust and to make sure it was correct. When we met with him it became apparent he wanted to met because there was paperwork that had been over looked and that we needed to sign. When I found another error... they put an address down for one of our largest intangible assets but had omitted the city and state. When I asked him about it he poo pooed meso then I asked him to tell me how he would find the asset without knowing the City and State. Mr Bindrup became agitated and verbally abused me. He told me I was a difficult client and the he turned to my husband of 18 years and said, "I guarantee you will be back to see me in a year because you will be divorced from her!" We immediately told him we didn't need his abuse & another attorney would be correcting mistakes!

Gregory G Gordon LTD
I was in his office to sign an agreement for child custody. Prior to signing the agreement, I asked Mr Gordan if I was to sign this agreement would I lose the $9000+ child support owed to me. His answer was "no" and that was a LIE! Now, I have to go back to court to get the child support that I am legally owed. DO NOT TRUST GREGORY GORDAN! He is a LIAR!! I fileda complaint with the NV Bar.

I wanted to thank you both once again for your fine work you did for me, as you know I was at my wit's end dealing with the lack of correspondence with Glen Lxxxxxs Attorneys. And I probably would have been paying out of pocket for my exceedingly high medical bills if it weren't for you, do to in part by Lxxxxxs lack of communication on my case. I am forever grateful for all your help.

Law Offices of P Sterling Kerr
Sterling Kerr and his staff were by my family's side at our darkest time. We had had all our accounts and money frozen by an unethical debt collector. Sterlings office staff was hugely helpful and understanding. They worked diligently to fix our problem and help us in less than 48 hours. He was a miracle worker. since then we have used this firm for multiple cases which have all had successful outcomes. I can honestly say Sterling Kerr is the most ethical, honest attorney I could ask for. I thought honest Attorneys did not think exist. I highly recommend Sterling Kerr.

Law Offices of P Sterling Kerr
Sterling Kerr stole money from the trust account. I paid him an upfront flat fee for work. He did the work but then held the money and refused to give it back. Sterling doesn't return calls or emails and calls you when he feels like it. I highly recommend not using this firm.
Tips & Advices
When it comes time to choose a lawyer, you should start by searching close to home. If you do have attorneys you are familiar with, ask who they believe would be best for you. After going through personal references - especially from individuals who had similar needs - you should broaden your search through public information resources. You can call your area's attorney referral service or check legal organizations like Martindale-Hubbell. There are other resources available online, such as You can check websites for client reviews and other third-party forms of approval.
If you sign documents and you come across a word you don't recognize, or you need help to navigate important employment or real estate paperwork. Also, during times when personal matters intersect with legal proceedings, you might need to have an advocate to prevent your emotions from getting in the way. If you've been accused of a crime or are in a terrible financial situation, you can find an attorney who will work with what you have available.
When you hire a lawyer, you're agreeing to work with someone over a certain period of time. The more forthcoming the lawyer appears to be with individual needs, the better.
  • You need to ask questions about how the attorney will communicate with you and what responsibilities you hold in the relationship.
  • The attorney should let you know the best channel for quick communication and you need to inform him or her when you want updates.
  • You should also ask questions to get to know the attorney as an individual in order to ensure this is a person you can trust. Ask about their legal philosophy and how he or she views the lawyer/client relationship. Ask as how to keep fees down or what daily disruptions you should expect from a long legal battle.
You need to ask about every possible fee that will come up when working with an attorney. You should request a list of all costs in advance so you won't be surprised by additional expenses like overhead. Also determine exactly when you will start being billed. You want to inspect paperwork carefully. If the attorney charges you for his or her experience, you need to make sure he or she will perform tasks personally and not hand it off to an assistant. Find out if the attorney has a flat fee or charges by the hour. Many civil lawyers work on contingency. Make inquiries about how the lawyer plans to provide service for your money and what you can do if you start to feel unsatisfied with his or her performance.
You can ask how many similar cases they have handled and if they have special skills or training that applies specifically to your needs. Lawyers can't mention clients by name, but you should ask for basic details about identical past cases. You should check their office for the appropriate certifications and diplomas. You can also ask how long he or she has practiced law and request information that demonstrates the practice's success. Look for precise details such as percentage of cases settled out of court.
