I'm more than happy with New West. They are professional, courteous, and always willing to help. Not only were they willing to show me multiple houses to suit my very particular taste, they worked around my crazy schedule as I flew back and forth from my home town while looking for a new home in Vegas, even when that meant evening and weekend work for them. Now that I have been in the house for a few months, I have had to call on occasion to get a repair scheduled. I understand that is part of normal life, so I'm not annoyed by it, especially when the sweetest employee on the planet is there to arrange appointments with whatever repair company I need, follow-up to make sure I am happy, and keep following up until I am. Again - I couldn't be happier with a property management company. I will undoubtedly renew my lease with them as long as I stay in Vegas.

This place was the worst experience in my life I moved in to an apartment that had a hole in the closet and a leaking air conditioner I'm not joking it took 7 visits a 2 months later to get the leaking cooler fixed the handy man has no idea what they are doing I came across this problem every time something broke the dryer the since etc...in the summer they were infested with cockroaches I would walk to my car at night dodging them gross...it took 2 weeks showing up at the office every morning to get bug guy out I finally get to move out and they never send me my deposit I call over and over for 4 months they tell me there working on it and be paint 4 months is nothing some people have been waiting a year! I finally get a hold of the manager 5 months later and she tells me that I do not get a deposit back something with the carpet that happen to cost exactly what my deposit was ! W.o.w I can't belive these people are still on business

Moved in about 2 1/2 months ago. All I can say about management is they don't want to deal with their tenets. Around the time I moved in, TWO of my neighbors were moving out. They both had terrible things to say about management. I thought they were just disgruntled soon-to-be-former tenets who were moving on to a seemingly "better situation". However, I think I'm beginning to understand why they held such harsh criticism. About two months ago, we had a double homicide at our complex. After finding out about the incident, I went to the office and spoke to two reps inside. One a young girl, the other an african american male. They BOTH said that I should not be worried or concerned for my family, because they have worked in worse places, like Compton, CA, and I shouldn't "over-react". That might be easy for them to say, but they completely rejected any safety concerns I had about the apartment complex and my family. Also keep in mind, nobody knew what had happened, at the time. Oh, by the way... WE ARE NOT IN COMPTON, CA! Or else my rent would be significantly cheaper... Remember the two neighbors from above? They both found out where I was parking, and that it was a bit of a hike to get from my unit to my car. They both suggested I contact the office once they leave, and have them change parking assignments. The second family even mentioned they had our parking until they requested a closer one. This family also had a special-needs, mentally-underdeveloped child that required several hospital visits per week. They said it took a while, but they were approved for the parking assignment change. They recommended we ask management for a change of assigned parking once they left, especially since the spot they were in was originally assigned to our unit. Today I went into the office to make the request. I spoke with the black guy who was they only front office person available. He said he couldn't do the change because it would violate the Fair Housing Act and, if the company were sued, he would lose his job.... what?! This guy either doesn't know what the Fair Housing Act is, or he tried to pull a fast one to get out of making the change of assigned parking. His demeanor and cantankerous attitude leads be to believe the latter. I now understand why my former neighbors held less-than favorable views regarding this management team. Below is a list of things to watch out for, if you choose to ignore this and others' reviews of the property. 1. Do not get a floor unit - after you move in, within a month, your unit will be infested with cockroaches. Management has a contract with an exterminator, but they are terrible. You will have to hire your own if you live downstairs. 2. Do not be fooled by the model units - After we moved in, none of the "nice" amenities were there. No new stove, no new carpet, no new washer/dryer, no ceiling fans, no paint job, the blinds were terrible (and still have not been fixed, after numerous requests). And don't expect them to reveal this "small" discrepancies, either. 3. Previous reviews were correct; outside looks nice, but the inside is reminiscent of a "projects" unit. Poor quality, overall. Small sinks and small water heaters make daily activities, like washing dishes, taking showers and doing laundry, irritating. 4. My wife and I have been inundated with telemarketers ever since we moved in - I believe a previous reviewer had it right, management takes and sells your information to outside companies for profit. Your rent just isn't enough, anymore. Actually, the units are not THAT bad. Its just that poor management always ends up bringing out and exaggerating issues current tenets might have with the units they occupy. Good management always results in tenets overlooking and forgiving the same problems. You now how it goes. Anyway, avoid if you can and rent a house instead...

I have had an extremely poor experience at Green Valley Country Club Apartments. I was originally attracted to the complex because of the low pricing and beautiful views offered by the golf course, but nearly every other aspect has been disappointing. We moved into an apartment with two doors that didn’t shut properly, both bathroom fans malfunctioning, multiple broken electrical outlets and showers that didn’t heat properly. On top of that, one of our windows ‘blew in’ and shattered all over our couch. When involving the maintenance team, we found that they showed up at hours other than promised and left before the job was done without any communication (in one instance our maintenance man said he would “be right back”, and not only did he not come back that day, he didn’t show up the rest of the week). We then went to management and asked if we could get some sort of restitution, discount or compensation for such a poorly prepared apartment…only to receive shoulder shrugs from a management team that clearly holds no authority. The management team would not give us access or some sort of contact number for ‘corporate’, and displayed zero problem solving skills in trying to find a solution (the level of customer service is what you would expect from a teenager who gets their first minimum wage position). Finally, what you see online simply isn’t true - the property is old and run down, most of the apartments have unsightly views, the work-out facilities are of little value (no free weights!), one of the pools is poor, one of the hot tubs always seems to not be working, and the movie theater is only available during work hours. Additionally, we were told at move in that our deposit would be one full month of rent (rather than the $250-500 we were told to expect). Don’t rent from this apartment complex - if it’s a matter of money, there are better options (either cheaper or better bang for buck), and if you’re looking for something nice, look elsewhere.

DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT rent here! From first looks- this place is quaint, and "homey" for college students or beginning families, but it has BY FAR been the WORST experience I have ever had renting. First off, they do not have a consistent staff. I don't remember a time that I walked in to pay my rent and saw a familiar face. Second, my roommate and I signed our leases with a "special" so we didn't have a move in fee or pay a security deposit. We were NEVER told that you had to give 60 days notice to leave. However, I went in 60 days prior to moving out and gave notice, I even signed a document but was never given a copy- even when I went in to ask a second time. Now to the apartment- it was a hell hole. Carpets were trashed, appliances broken, and the maintenance took weeks to repair anything. The neighbors were ALWAYS yelling and fighting, smoking, had their dogs yapping until 5 am- even when they didn't have a pet sticker on their door (noting that they paid for an animal). There was a security system installed in the apartment, but when we asked on move in day to set it up the woman in charge said "it's down now... I'll send someone soon to fix it"- A YEAR LATER IT HAD NEVER BEEN TOUCHED. We were robbed twice, both break ins, my roommates car was hit by a car covering falling on it. Everything is shady and in poor condition. We moved out 9 months ago and JUST received a phone call recently saying that we "left without notice" and "owe $3,000 for a security deposit" (in NV you can only ask for a deposit in the BEGINNING of a rent period) They will take advantage of you as much as possible- PLEASE DO NOT RENT HERE.

I agree with the other resident that live here. I too currently love at Black Mountain Villas and the presentation seemed all professional, but NOT AT ALL!!!! I live next door to an idiot that plays LOUD music all times of the day and I have notified the office, police and even confronted him with no resolve. The walls are SO PAPER THIN!!! You can hear your neighbor talk, sleep, even have s-xxxxx. The office staff just don't care once they get their share. Oh, also you have to come in to pay your rent, so if you work doing the day, you're just out! DON""T BE FOOLED by the appearance....

Although you might get a good move in deal, please don't move here. I have lived here with my family for almost a year and at first I was so excited. The units are absolutely gorgeous. However, we quickly realized that the people living in the apartments weren't the best tenants. The 2nd day we lived here we were walking to the mailbox and overheard a tenant near the tot-lot (of all places) yelling that he was "not going back to jail", we immediately regretted our decision to move here. The main issue for us, is hearing our neighbors constantly. The people behind us are constantly slamming their cupboards, even throughout the night. The people next door are constantly slamming their door and walking so loudly up their stairs you feel like they are in your home. Clearly the walls are thin. We are constantly hearing people slam their doors. If you are walking to your car, you have to be very careful, people are constantly speeding throughout the property and don't slow down even if they see you walking. People are also inconsiderate and will hit your car with their doors, leaving dings and scratches. We even had the air caps stolen off our tires. The houses behind the apartments (over the wall) are pretty terrible as well, I've heard couples screaming at each other. There's also a few of the houses where they allow their dogs to urinate on the cement and don't hose it down, in the summertime it smells so horrendous, it makes you want to vomit. (no exaggeration) People are allowed to smoke on their balconies, which I guess is fine for smokers.. but if you live next to/above/below the smoke will seep into your apartment. Although petty (maybe staff will consider fixing), there is almost always someone parked in the "mail only" parking (not getting mail).. which is completely inconsiderate. I've also seen people who are clearly not handicapped parking in the handicap parking. The upside is that you are very close to everything, but I would suggest something more towards green valley pkwy/stephanie. These apartments are far too close to Boulder HWY, you can visit the gas station on the corner to see what kind of people are around and living at Firenze. I feel like these other 5 star reviews have been written by staff, I really couldn't see anyone being that happy here, unless they are the actual problem. It might seem great at first, but after you've been here for a little bit, it's pretty awful. Unfortunately most of the reviews I've read, even from 2009, the problems still exist. When I read these reviews before I moved in, I thought maybe it was just bitter tenants that wanted to talk poorly about Firenze. I'm sad to say that all of the reviews were true. It's sad because these are the better looking apartments (on the inside) around the valley. The staff however, I have never had problems with.. they have always been nice and courteous. It's just the tenants they allow to rent here.

I am taking them to court and going to the news! This needs to be stopped, I am not the only person this has happened to!

Please never work to rent through this company!!!! I would give them negative stars if possible!!!! I have had the worst apt experience of bmy life with these people. To begin with, they didnt clean the apartment before I moved in, they didnt even vacuum! Then the airconditioning unit didnt have any power, they sent someone to simply flip a switch to turn the power on and then chanrged me $80 for it saying it was my fault for not making sure it worked before i moved in and now that i was there it was my fault. The when i actually did need help to reset my fuse box, they sent me a YOUTUBE VIEO instead of an actual electrician! The people in the office are extremely rude and not helpful. I asked to speak to a manger one and Shayna (the girl in the office) vsimply said "a manger wont call you back". Then when i moved out i had the carpets cleaned and the man said all the stains that had been there when i moved in were old cat urine...I DONT HAVE A CAT!!!! obviosly this is one of th worst copanies in Las Vegas. You dont even want to know what they did regarding my securtiy deposit, but basically, i was robbed. I will be filing a report with the BBB and Attorny General agaist this company ASAP!!!!

We had so many issues with leaks and old appliances. Our washer broke and flooded twice. Instead of replacing our washer with new equipment they cut use old equipment out of different apartments and where they store their old refurbished equipment. Our dryer broke and they did the samething. Our air-condioner leaked all over the carpet 3 times. Our unit outside ran out of free-on multiple times through the summer. Our NV energy bill was $280 for an apartment. We came home to a roach problem and they blamed us for it.They replaced our fridge (that's where the roaches were nesting) with an old dirty fridge.Before our lease was up, we had our last leak and the office manager told us that we weren't going to pay for the carpet since we had so many problems.Many more in that area and you won't be stuck with huge energy bills because they are too cheap to replace their appliances with new ones. The carpet hadn't been replaced since 2011 and they made us pay for it. Sneaky, lying office girls

I have been charged triple for water sewage and trash and other bogus charges. Camden fairways want us to pay for a carpet worth for two years, and we only lived there for less than 8 months. When we first moved in we had to pay cleaning and management asked us to pay cashier's check, go figure out why!!! So the cleaning fee won't have to show on the bill!! on top of that they wnt us to pay cleaning fee again at the end. To top it all of, we cleaned the place spotless and theyre saying we lrft stains in there! Go figure!!! Of course, they could not resist to charge more on top of all the charges they could ever think of. Someone have stolen our car parking space several times and did not even hear so much as a simple sorry. My daughter got injured with all the nails stinking out again did not hear a sorry!!! Now that we are moving out, they thought of a special way to charge us everything!!! How wonderful!!! So if you'd like to live in a hell hole go for it live here at Camden!!!

Several residents have complained about this complex. It has less space than the size of a shoe closet! The management here is beyond comprehension. They change management staff, as frequently as mcdonalds changes their employees. The amenities they speak of are lacking. A small gym the size of an office. The rent here is outrageous. The appliances in the apartment homes are out of date ( back to the 80s). They charge you for cable TV every month. Whether you like it or not. The average monthy water bill is $80 a month (seperate from rent). Thats because you are paying for their water bill, not yours. They only have one water meter (per building). Which means you pay for your water and your neighbors, including the sprinklers around the home.Then you pay a seperate mangement fee ( monthly). And pay for the trash (seperatley). These fees are attached to your monthly rent.That is on top of paying around $1000 a month the apartment. Their is no garage offered. They will charge you pet rent if you have any pets. Pet rent is $250 per month. They glitz up the outside of the apartment home to fool you. They get paid commission to rent the apartment. They never fix anything. And the apartments constantly needs work. For example your water heater does not heat up a 15 minute shower. They over water the lawn at all times. So that the ants will come into your home on a regular basis. They have so many cracks in the walls of the home. The ants have an easy way in. The neighbors are noisy at all hours of the day and night. Complainning to anyone does no good. The front gate is a disgrace. It is broken 90 percent of the time. Their is no insulation in these homes. In fact their is no place to store your things. It is like living in a college dorm! I know some people just like to complain. In this case I wish I were one of them. Unfortuntley that is not the case. I just want to save other people from having to experience what I went through.

Staff is a bunch of CRIMINALS and the buildings are rotting away. Everything is BROKEN and you will NEVER GET REPAIRS. The city should CONDEMN the place!
