Family Auto Sales & Service
I shopped the entire country and dozens of dealers for my Porsche Boxster S. I came all the way from Dallas, Texas to Hemet, CA (approx. 1,442 miles) to buy a car from Hemet Family Auto. Why? Nobody between here and there could match the right car with the right price until I got here. They gave me a great deal! They were easy to work with, and I made them work being so far away. Despite the drive-I was in and out with my car in less than an hour! Before I got there the car had to undergo a P.P.I. (Pre Purchase Inspection-since the vehicle is a Porsche and I far away) and they made it right as rain, I trusted the vehicle enough to drive it home. I don't know about the only other reviewer they've had to this point but, I counted hundreds of dealers I passed that didn't have the right car or the right price or FINANCING! We had been turned down a dozen times…even with 30% down! A lot of dealers "SAID" they could get us financed - Nicole actually SUCCEEDED! If you live closer than 1,000 miles I would go see 'em. Why not 1,442? Well, even in a Porsche the last 400 or so miles were tough! Thanks again Nicole for everything! P.S. I know they have a nice Mercedes I drove up there!

Dale was outstanding throughout the entire process. He showed me everything there is to know about the fully-loaded Highlander I bought. I brought one of my best friends who used to be in the car business and even he said that he has never seen a salesman as thorough and professional as Dale.

My family has now bought 13 cars from Dale. We love the way he is honest with us and he knows his cars very well. I love the new Corolla and he helped to make it fit into my budget!

Tips & Advices
Depending on the part and its overall quality, a good amount of money can be saved by purchasing aftermarket parts versus OEM parts. But aftermarket parts that are low in price might also be lower in quality and could do more harm than good to your car, or they may need to be replaced more frequently than a more expensive counterpart. This could lead to saving some money in the short term, but spending more than anticipated in the long term.
The type of tires being purchased is the most significant determinant of their price. SUV tires are more costly than average car tires. And high-performance tires are more costly than economy grade tires. On average, standard tires for an average-sized vehicle are around $100 per tire. Standard tires for an SUV are around $150 and pick-up truck tires are about $200 on average. Some dealers offer discounts if purchasing more than one tire.
Car inspections typically take about an hour. However the wait time can be longer depending on how busy the shop is. Call ahead for an appointment to avoid long wait times.
Depending on the manufacturer, certain aftermarket parts can be just as reliable as Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts. But one item within a vehicle, like oil filters for instance, could have multiple manufacturers and there could be inconsistencies in quality among them.
Costs of replacing a windshield can vary greatly depending on a variety of factors:
  • Vehicle make and model
  • How much of the cost insurance will cover
  • Whether the windshield installers come to your location or you bring the vehicle to them
  • Standard service costs of the windshield installers
Generally, newer and higher-end vehicles cost more to have their windshields replaced because certain manufacturers use modified or proprietary glass types.
