Maaco Collision Repair & Auto Painting
They upcharge you 20% over what they quote you over the phone and then say we dont quote with tax. Evidently they do not quote with materials, supplies, sublet, environmental fess, etc... etc... Either.. 3 People in office and took 7 minutes for them to even address my presence in the room. They must make money somehow but customer service, fair pricing aren't part of it.

Less than 75 miles. Awful work, awful customer service, and guess what...the warranty means NOTHING.

Maaco Collision Repair & Auto Painting
I've had Marie and Richard do quite a few projects for me and my customers. From bumper covers to overall paint jobs. This is NOT your average Maaco made famous by cheap paint jobs. Sure they do those and even they look good for the price. If you want a great quality job they can do it!

I own a lawn and landscape company and I constantly take trucks up to Maaco to get painted. They always do a fantastic job and I will continue to bring all my trucks up there that I need painted. I drive over 45 minutes to get there and it is worth the drive!Well done thank you!!

I would rate them at zero stars if it was an option. Sent a car up there to get painted, waited almost a month before it was done. When i went to go pick it up, they had lost the key to the car and claimed I never gave it to them. On top of that, the car wasn't even painted right, they were multiple spots that weren't painted right (paint cracked drip lines) and there were multiple body panels that werent even painted. When I spoke to the owner about getting it redone correctly or refunding me the money for the paint job and reimbursing me for the cost to get a new key done, she basically told me to F off. DON NOT GO TO THIS MAACO UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE SCREWED OVER!!!

Maaco Collision Repair & Auto Painting
Shotty work after purchasing an after market bumper and verified it was in good condition went to st Charles location and seen bumper was not even prepped which was stated would be done for painting and they painted over the protective coating to prevent damage from shipping which should of came right off if it was properly prepped for painting talked to a lady that claimed bumper looked like a junk yard bumper that was refurbished and it wasn't and came from an extremely well known and reliable vendor called extreme dimensions and pictures documenting before it was painted. They tried to tell me it would cost an additional 150 to redo it because it was painted ha not happening and this has happened with this company before but I will give them the opportunity to fix this to satisfy customer and if not I will be filling a civil suit with the county and they can keep the bumper because its going to cost them.

Maaco Collision Repair & Auto Painting
I am very disappointed in the customer satisfaction that this shop provided. When I went to pick up my car for repair of damage from an accident, the dents were still visible, so I refused to take the car. Patti who helped me was was very nice, and also noticed the dent, as well as a friend who came with me. The manager, Marie, was not in, but when I called her the next day she was not very apologetic and made excuses, stating I was trying to save $. I never indicated to her that I wanted a cheap job. I pointed out the concerned areas and she assured me they would be fixed. When the car was picked up the second, the major denting looked well done, however, a very minor spot was refused to be fixed, because she had failed to write it out on the estimate, however, she verbally promised to have it fixed and stated it was not a big deal, since they would be working in that area anyway. However, not sure why she would want to completely blow any customer satisfaction on such a minor touch up. This was part of the damage that was supposed to have been worked on. I'm guessing she was not happy about having to make the car right, by working on it a second time. It wasn't my fault that the car was not repaired correctly. I was referred to these people by a friend. However, because of the arrogant and uncooperative Manager not doing the work she had promised, she will lose more work in the future. My friend has 3 cars he was going to take to the shop for repair, but now prefers to wait and do it elsewhere. Not smart on their part. I would not recommend this shop.
Tips & Advices
Using a variety of tools and processes, many of which require specialized training, auto body mechanics primarily repair cosmetic and structural damage to vehicles after accidents occur. They can also enhance a vehicle’s appearance and performance by replacing and adding new parts to a vehicle’s body.
This depends on the severity of the work that needs to be done. Something such as paintless dent repair for a few small dents can take an hour. Whereas auto body repairs for damages caused by a major accident can take multiple days to correct.
All auto body parts can be repaired but there is a threshold for the level of repairs possible. Parts can be damaged beyond repair and would need to be wholly replaced.
Auto body parts can be made from a wide variety of materials, usually based on what the part’s purpose is. Vehicle frames body panels, bumpers, roof racks, and other items that need to be strong and durable are usually constructed from steel, which is known for its durability and resistance to rust and high temperatures. But aluminum is quickly becoming a popular material of construction due to its lightweight yet durable nature. Body kits and other aftermarket parts like spoilers and hoods can be constructed from one form of plastic or another.
Yes, the vast majority of car makes and models have aftermarket parts available for many of their components. But higher-end vehicles typically have less aftermarket parts available since they often use specialized materials and manufacturing processes that are difficult to duplicate for many aftermarket manufacturers.
