General Info

 We provide personalized care for all the animals in our care - we strive to give each animal the attention and love they would be getting at home! Three professional groomers provide a full spectrum of grooming servies to all breeds of dogs. Our training program is run in our large outdoor training field.

    If I cannot get my dog a reservation at this kennel, I don't go out of town - period. They're that good - personal attention to every animal. They have rules and standards - including mandatory vaccinations - which leave me with a sense of peace that I am leaving my dog with professionals.

    My family and I have been using Derbyfield Kennel for over 20 years, they have been nothing but wonderful and nice! They are completely clear about when you can drop off/pick up your animal. I wouldn't use any other kennel for my dogs.

  • Not nice to pet owners

    My dog and I were turned away despite reservations and a previous stay because we showed up at the wrong time.
    If you want to be strict about times of arrival, the thoughtful, considerate thing to do is to remind the customer. You can do this by phone or email or even in person. Any would have worked for me because I was there just days earlier.
    Instead on a Sunday afternoon I had to scramble for a different kennel - they were no help in finding another accomodation. By the time I did find another kennel miles away, I had missed my plane and lost hundreds of dollars rebooking a new flight.
    Granted I shouldnt have been late, but their lack of compassion under the circumstances was stunning. Clearly they don't care about their customers, so I would recommend finding other accomodations on Cape Cod for your pet.
