Our waitress greeted us assuring us she would get us to our show on time....she even knew the start time. So we relaxed and lost track of time. Our entrees arrived at 7:40 and we had an 8:00 show.......scarfing down entrees that cost $32 is not my idea of a dining experience. Never got the dessert that we paid for "prix fixe!" Guy told us to come back after the show for the dessert!!!! The swordfish ($32) while good, was infintessimally small....lucky, since I had so little time to eat it! My first stop at Dish some weeks prior was enchanting...go figure....I'm with the other bloke......I'll try Max on Main! The little waitress never showed her pretty little face again! Not even an apology......

Terrible, disgusting or horrible. Pick whichever you like. A few weeks ago my niece had her birthday reserved there on a Saturday evening. The place was so crowded that we did not have enough place to sit, so you can imagine eating from the plates in our hand. The food was good, but it took forever to get some drinks. There was little place to dance which that was also an issue. Worse of all the waitresses did not care how drunk people are they kept on serving them. Needless to say that it is not only irresponsible, but illegal. The worse was to come when we had to pay and our individual bills were over 150+ dollars on the average, but guess what; none of us received a detailed bill just the final sum. I am sure all of us were overcharged. The worse is still to come, I have called the bar and left at least four messages and no one ever called me back. To some extend I would say they are almost criminals, by overcharging customers, not giving a detailed bill, and serving people who are totally drunk. Unless something changes avoid the place.

We went here for a birthday celebration with a group of friends on March 1, 2014. We were attending the 10pm late show to see the comedian Brad Williams. We had a good time until the last 15 minutes of the show when we received our bill for drinks. Turns out we were charged an extra $4 per drink for "top shelf liquor" on each drink when that was not what we ordered. We ordered regular drinks in souvenir glasses. Our entire 9 person party was overcharged on the drinks we ordered. The server, who was a young kid, got argumentative and extremely rude with us over it so we demanded to speak with management. We were then told by the manager that because we consumed it we had to pay for it even though it was not what we ordered. The bill confusion and argument with us over this error ruined the ending of the show for us and upset our birthday celebration. Then we were held up for an additional 45 minutes after the show trying to settle this only to be basically told "screw you" and given a lousy $2 discount per drink. Considering they made several hundred off of our table without having to overcharge us, this was a huge slap in the face. This incident destroyed what should have been a fun evening out. I will never ever return there again. For future comedy shows I will stick to Mohegan Sun.

With an incredible rooftop bar (complete with a waterfall and TVs) and dining area, extensive and reasonably-priced wine list, delicious and interesting menu, and convenient location, you cannot go wrong with the Elbow Room. It has an interesting interior design, giving it a romantic feel. The menu items are delicious and range from unpretentious to daring. You can order something artistic and unique, but you can also stick with the tried-and-true macaroni and cheese, except this version is better than anything you’ve ever made yourself. And the prices—while somewhat high—are entirely reasonable for the food, service, and environment you’re getting. It’s easy to order things that won’t break the bank and still have a great experience. The crowd is typical West Hartford Center and ranges in age, but the typical diner is probably in his or her 30s. The upstairs bar attracts people from their early 20s to mid 40s. People often take their kids, though, and they don’t seem out of place.
