I disagree with the comment below. I researched permanent makeup, specifically eyebrows for months. When I found A Better Image online, I carefully dissected the pictures to get a feel for the work. When I called and inquired about the procedure, I was fully informed of what to expect, which made me very anxious and excited to go through with it. As a registered nurse, I see many people on a daily basis, and since I was always self conscious about my thinning eyebrows, I decided to meet Lina in person. She took her time to show me her work and listened to my requests. Not only do I get compliments all the time on my natural looking eyebrows, but she exceeded my expectations! The office is cozy, clean, and sanitary. I hope Lina never retires because in the future when I need a touch-up, I can't see myself trusting anyone else. Perfect color match! Highly recommended, and definitely worth the money!

At New England Holistic Heath Center we practice complimentary medicine, using natural remedies and treatments along with traditional prescription medications when necessary. Our clients are the children, adults, and seniors of our comunity and they and needs are as diverse as the services we offer. Long before wellness and holistic health became buzz words of the new Millennium, we responded to the community’s need for an alternative approach to traditional medicine, openting New England Holisic Health Center in 1985. Nearly two decades later, we remain committed to our vision of offering health care to people of all ages in a professional, caring environment. In a typical day, we might trest a family grieving the loss of a loved one, a teacher who was a little too enthusiastic about her first time out on the ski slopes, and a child whose parents are seeking alternative treatment for his or her attention deficit disorder. We are “in it for the long haul” with our clients and often end up seeing members of three generations of a family through the years. Please feel free to visit the different areas of our website and find out more about us. Offering relief from physical and/or emotional discomfort or pain is what we do best at New England Holistic Health Center. Whether seeking the help of an individual staff member or a collaboration of our professionals, we can assist you in your return to wellness. We offer a full range of care through Chiropractic care, Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation, Therapeutic Massage, and Behavioral Health Care. In addition to treating conditions such as, low back or neck pain, sports related injuries, depression or anxiety related symptoms, we also offer counseling/support, stress relief for families, couples and individuals who may be experiencing some of life’s challenges. As experts in divorce mediation, easing pain and maintaining the integrity of the family is a primary focus. We can work with your attorney to minimize the adversarial aspects of divorce. Preventive medicine and prescription is the key to the success of holistic health care. Individuals can also avail of our other opportunities for wellness by participating in our in-house Tai Chi, Yoga or Pilates classes. At New England Holistic Health Center you will find both the individuals and the tools necessary to assist you in achieving the happiest, healthiest you. Caring Professionals Providing Holistic Integrative Medical Care New England Holistic Health Center reflects the vision and philosophy of our founders, Elizabeth Monahan, a Marital and Family Therapist, and Dr. Eva Salzer, a Chiropractic physician. Long before wellness and preventative medicine became popular, they responded to the community’s need for an alternative approach to traditional medicine, opening New England Holistic Health Center in 1985. Over the years, the Center and its reputation have grown: psychiatrists, a naturopathic physician, social workers, marital and family therapists, licensed professional counselors, a yoga specialist, and several massage therapists have joined Dr. Salzer and Ms. Monahan. We serve as teaching faculty for Central Connecticut State University and are affiliated with several area hospitals. Many local physicians refer their patients to our Center to augment their care. We believe the most important part of this team is you. We work hard to address your needs and concerns. We use a holistic approach—chiropractic, psychiatry, psychotherapy, massage, and biofeedback; we call on each other to insure careful diagnosis and treatment. We may recommend lifestyle changes, nutritional changes, or other holistic remedies as well as more conventional medicine. Our goal is not just an absence of symptoms, but healthy connection to others yo

I have used Orthopedic Assciates on more than one occaission. The doctors in this group all have their own individual specialties. When I have broken a bone, I have been refered to the doctor who most meets my needs. For instance, several years ago I fell and broke my humorous bone, which was treated by the member of Orthopedic Associates who was on call. I have bad osteoporosis and when I went back in a week for my follow-up appointment, the pins he had had to put in had "fallen out" and because of my poor bones, he referred me to the Senior Practitioner for "elbows," who had to perform surgery again and put in a lot more "hardware." This was Dr. Miranda. He is one of the nicest, most approachable and easy to talk with , (with never any "rushing") physician I have ever met. Even my older brother, who gave me a ride for my follow-up visits and came in with me as it was difficult for me to remove the clothing necessary for the doctor to do his job remarked, "That guy is so sweet, he makes ME feel like I AM not as nice a person as I always thought I was!" He was also very talented at correcting the bad damage that had happened when I fell and broke the bone. Elbows are very complicated and he made what could have been a very tiresome and painful time go as smoothly and easily as possible. I have also seen two other physicans in this practice as I broke different bones at later dates. I broke my ankle a few years ago while camping, (it was raining and I slid down a hill on leaves from the "bathrooms" and broke my ankle badly. Dr. Benthian treated me for this. Although he was quieter and not outgoing like Dr. Miranda, he was accomplished and kind, just very busy due to circumstances beyond his control. He did a beautiful job on my broken ankle, which also required surgery to place screws in it until it was completely healed, at which time he was able to remove them. My last experience was this past December, when I tripped over my cat in the middle of the night and ended up with a broken foot. Thankfully, this was not a bad break and did not require surgery. I was attended to by Dr. Clifford Rios, who was competent, kind, and very down-to-earth, a rare type of physician who actually talked to me and heard my concerns and went out of his way to be helpful, including getting me as much aftercare in my home as possible with only Medicare as my insurance. In my experience over my lifetime, I have found that many surgeons appear cold and uncaring, as I have read they think of you, not as an individual, but "a foot," a "leg," etc. This has not been my experience with this Group. They also have extremely personable and competent assistants, for instance, the people who schedule visits, the X-Ray tech.s and the people who work in the "Cast Room," who "teased" me to make me laugh when I was near tears and did their best to make the visit as "fun" as possible, offering different colored fiberglass for my casts, bringing me water or juice, and allowing me privacy to pull myself together when I was upset. I don't know what was wrong with the man who complained about his treatment, but can not understand how he could have had such a bad experience unless he is a "fault-finder" who has nothing better to do. He is fortunate to be able to travel wherever he wants for treatment, so why waste his time "whining" and judging a whole group of practitioners based on a singular experience. Perhaps HE was vague and didn't know what he was seeking.
