If you have to call this group, GOOD LUCK, ON HOLD UNTIL PHONE BATTERY WENT DEAD, THIS HAPPENS EVERYTIME A PHONE CALL IS NEEDED, IT IS SAD THAT A CARDIAC PATIENT CAN NOT REACH ANYONE IN THE OFFICE EVEN IN AN EMERGENCY, LEAVING A MESSAGE DOESN'T WORK THEY DO NOT RETURN THE CALL, TOLD TO GO TO ER, WHO CAN AFFORD AN ER VISIT FOR ROUTINE VISIT

Dr. Kim is very friendly, and professional every time I see him. I trust him 100% with my cardiac care. He is very knowledgeable, and is one doc. that is not quick to push medicine, or unnecessary procedures/testing. I would not want to see any other cardiologist!

The doctors I have dealt with from Riverside have been more than adequate. Be aware that their billing system is very user-unfriendly. They use this 877 number to process payments and after waiting on hold 20 minutes, I was told by "Dennis" that I had to be transferred to another area for Riverside billing. This other area does not have a separate phone number so I waited another 20 minutes before I got "James" who took my payment. I also asked if it was possible to directly dial Riverside people and he did not think so, I asked to talk to the supervisor, he put me on hold and said that he was "in a meeting" but would call me back, "Moses" still has not called me back 3 days later. I will not use Riverside unless they can process my payments.

Dr. Hank himself is great. However, dealing with the office is so unbelievably frustrating, I am leaving the practice. First of all, every time I call I get placed on hold, only for it to ring back and be placed on hold again. I have to develop an attitude in order for someone to talk to me. This has happened on three separate occasions over a 2 month timeframe. Then after three months of having issues, I was finally able to get some reliable feedback. Dr. Hank ordered bloodwork. Well some incompetent staff member did not put it in the system and I showed up to the lab and they were A. unable to perform the labwork and B. unable to reach anyone at the office to resolve the issue. If I do become pregnant, there is no way I will be able to deal with this office for 9 months. I have been with this office for 9 years starting with my first pregnancy and it definitely has changed.

Left me laying for two days before telling me I had a colon preservation. Then sent me home on antibiotics to calm infection and I almost died. He was rough while pulling a drain tube out. I felt he was very rough. No bedside manner.

Dr. Krishnamurthy makes you feel like you are her only patient of the day. She listens completely to every concern and explains health concerns in an understandable way. She is a very skilled surgeon and I recovered in days from my surgery, with no complications or concerns. Unlike any other doctor I have ever seen, she remembers conversations from my list visit, even if then were several months ago. I would highly recommend her for all OB/GYN needs.
Tips & Advices
This depends on the facility. Patients should call to find out if they'll need a referral from their physician prior to making an appointment.
Aside from hyperbaric oxygen treatment, most wound care centers offer:
  • Debridement: The removal of dead skin and tissue surrounding the wound. This can be done surgically, using a whirlpool bath, syringes, enzymes that dissolve the tissue, or wet dressings that dry on the wound and absorb the dead tissue.
  • Dressing: Wrapping the wound in a protective film, gauze, gel, or foam.
  • Compression stockings: Tight-fitted fabric sheaths that encourage blood flow.
  • Artificial skin: A covering that is applied to the wound for several days as it heals.
  • Ultrasound: The use of sound waves to promote healing.
  • Growth factor therapy: The use of materials naturally produced by the body to encourage quick cell growth.
  • Negative pressure therapy: Creating a vacuum around a wound to encourage faster blood flow to the area.
Depending on where the treatment is administered, hyperbaric oxygen treatment  can cost $100- $1,000. After insurance is applied, patients may have a copay of $10 -$50 or a coinsurance fee of 10 percent to 50 percent.
Most wounds should heal within two to six weeks. An individual should seek chronic wound treatment if a wound has not begun to heal after two weeks or is not completely healed after six.
Most health insurance plans cover wound care. Patients should check with the clinic and their health insurance provider before seeking treatment to be sure.
