Automotive Specialties of Hanover
I recently got a VW Jetta TDI. I wanted to find a garage that would take good care of my car. Because it is foreign and a diesel I didn't trust just anyone to work on it. I talked to alot of people I knew as well as consulting other garages. They all said automotive specialist was the place to go. Jeff is a great guy and takes the time to explain what he is doing. I can do alot of repairs on my own and he has had no problem showing me how. He has even given me free stuff like a driver manual because mine was not in the car when I bought it. It is a little expensive, but that is to be expected with a VW. I have been to garages that just don't trust. I would rather pay a little extra to a guy I do trust.

Leese's Auto Service
Leese's is a great place to get State Inspections done as well as oil changes and minor repairs. I started using Leese's at the suggestion of the Penn Township Police Dept when Black's Sunoco closed down about 10 or so years ago.Scott does excellent work. He prices work fairly. He's a little rough around the edges but he is straightforward and always completes the work when he says he will do it.As a regular customer of Leese's I think it is unfair to allow a neighbor to affect his business's rating because the owner objected to the neighbor putting trash in his trash can which, I believe, is against the law to begin with. Ben's Platinum Motors
I visited Ben's Platinum Motors today in search of a new car. Minutes after pulling into the parking lot, Ben was outside and ready to answer my questions. He was courteous and honest, offering me a generous trade-in value for my car and suggesting that I take the "new" car for a test drive. He has several cars in his lot, and they all appear to be in great condition and well taken care of. Ben was happy for our business and I would definitely refer anyone interested in a used car to visit his shop!

Leese's Auto Service
I have been getting my cars inspected here since I was able to drive. The boys over there are amazing mechanics and has never cheated me out of money or made me get parts that I didn't need. Their prices are amazing and always nice and helpful. They are the best around Hanover.

Tips & Advices
Using a variety of tools and processes, many of which require specialized training, auto body mechanics primarily repair cosmetic and structural damage to vehicles after accidents occur. They can also enhance a vehicle’s appearance and performance by replacing and adding new parts to a vehicle’s body.
This depends on the severity of the work that needs to be done. Something such as paintless dent repair for a few small dents can take an hour. Whereas auto body repairs for damages caused by a major accident can take multiple days to correct.
All auto body parts can be repaired but there is a threshold for the level of repairs possible. Parts can be damaged beyond repair and would need to be wholly replaced.
Auto body parts can be made from a wide variety of materials, usually based on what the part’s purpose is. Vehicle frames body panels, bumpers, roof racks, and other items that need to be strong and durable are usually constructed from steel, which is known for its durability and resistance to rust and high temperatures. But aluminum is quickly becoming a popular material of construction due to its lightweight yet durable nature. Body kits and other aftermarket parts like spoilers and hoods can be constructed from one form of plastic or another.
Yes, the vast majority of car makes and models have aftermarket parts available for many of their components. But higher-end vehicles typically have less aftermarket parts available since they often use specialized materials and manufacturing processes that are difficult to duplicate for many aftermarket manufacturers.
