I called last minute to see if I could walk in and get a quick haircut. It was my first time here and I loved it!! My first impression is that it reminded me of the small town salon my mom took me to growing up. I like businesses that are personally owned better due to the quality of work and better service just from experience of going to many salons. Caitlin was so friendly and easy to talk to and really knew what I needed done with my hair even though I wasn't really sure myself. The shop seemed very clean and maintained when I walked in. The decor was very girly in a way, but I really liked the charm of it. I feel that, overall, the service, cleanliness, setting, and price was excellent! I'm happy I was able to find this place in such a short notice. Thank you again Caitlin!

So upset!! I've been going to Patty for about a year now for my relaxers and blow out. My hair has always come out great & I've referred many friends and my patients to her. After a year of Patty recommending that I get highlights, I went in to see her today to have them done. I took a PICTURE in to her of what I wanted and specified that I was extremely nervous (this was the first time I've ever dyed my hair) and I wanted MINIMAL color. The picture was of Mila Kunis with dark brown hair (same as mine) and a honey brown highlight. This is what I requested. I told Patty MULTIPLE times that I DO NOT want blonde in my hair! I asked her MULTIPLE times if she was confident and positive that she could do this to pretty much mirror the picture and if she couldn't I did not want to go through with it. She assured me it could be done and I have nothing to worry about. Needless to say, I left in tears! My hair is dirty blonde! I have NO highlights! My entire head with the exception of my roots which are dark brown is dirty blonde! There's nothing about my hair that is highlighted! I literally have my natural color at my roots & then a LINE of dirty blonde for the rest of my head! It doesn't even fade into the color change. It looks like I allowed a teenager with no experience play around with dye in my head. Exactly what I was afraid of and specifically stressed to Patty is what has happened. To top it all off, when I seen my hair my eyes welled up with tears and I was looking at my hair in utter shock. Patty's response is " Ok blonde, you're all set! It's $120.00 today honey! I know it's a shock, but you'll get use to it." I wish I could upload a picture of what I asked for & SHOWED A PICTURE of with a what the result is, because everyone from my husband to my co-workers have said that there's no way she should've left my hair that way, or collected the full amount. I'm not opposed to paying her for her time, but the nerve of this women is unbelievable! She didn't offer to correct it, ask how I liked it, nothing! Oh, not only that, but she was also supposed to trim the dead ends off (caused by the bleaching) and didn't even do that! I'm going to another salon today to hopefully have this mess corrected. It's really a shame because her blow outs have been pretty good, but this experience is beyond horrible and I will never ever return! Not only has my hair been damaged and probably more so after the correction, but I'm out $120.00 for this women to do something she had no business doing in the first place! By far the worst experience with a salon/stylist/business owner in my life!
I made an appointment and arrived on time. While I wasn't too pleased with the outer appearance, I was thoroughly impressed with the interior design and initial acknowledgment of my presence. I ended up waiting almost 35 minutes when the power went out to dye weather. When it came back on, I waited another 10 minutes and noticed no one had checked on me or apologized for my wait. I was very disappointed that when I got up to leave someone merely asked, "Are you alright?" I replied yes but that I would come back another time. She simply replied, "Oh ok". That was it. Being new to the area (I told them this on the phone), it sucks that I can't rely on one place that I needed for one service. Definitely won't go back to this place again.
Do not book with Nakita, she is unresponsive and unreliable. She has no sense of quality customer service. I was scheduled to have my hair done by Nakita for my wedding. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, she was completely unresponsive. She would not return my text messages or phone calls. I left voice messages, and even had friends who knew her better call and text. Even though she came highly recommended for doing hair, she became an expert in dodging her obligations. Her lack of customer service and responsive overshadows her reputation for styling. I would not recommend her to anyone, especially if you are relying on her for a special occasion. In the days leading up to my wedding, I was scrambling to find a stylist and ultimately had to pay my personal stylist to travel over 4 hours. In the end, it was worth it to know that I would have a stylist who would actually show up.
