Fairview Pet Kennels
We have been using Fairview Pet Kennels for 10+ years. I cannot begin to say how great they really are. The owners and staff are incredible, they are always smiling, they always remember your pets name, and yours, and are genuinely good people. Their facilities are clean and well maintained. Our dog LOVES to go there. As soon as we pull up to the drive she pulls to get inside. We have never had a bad experience. I would recommend these guys to anyone.

Pets Vacationland
I was impressed with Pet's Vacationland when I left my dog there. The place was clean and the staff were very nice. I liked that the dogs could go inside and outside as they pleased because of the indoor outdoor runs. My dog really like one of the girls that works there, which is unusual for him. After boarding with them, I now don't have to worry about my dog being taken care of.

Pets Vacationland
I had a family emergency, and the girl working there let me drop my dog off after business hours and even offered to call my vet to verify shot records so I wouldn't have to go pick them up. The only reason I'm giving four stars is because they don't have Sunday pickup, but I guess everyone needs a day off.

Tips & Advices
Pets that do not get along with other animals may incur an additional fee. Some facilities have special solitary sleeping and play animals for these types of pets.
A checklist for what to bring to a pet kennel includes:
  • Vaccination records
  • A favorite toy or blanket
  • Food and feeding instructions (if the pet has dietary restrictions or is a picky eater)
  • Medication (if necessary, in its original bottle and with written instructions)
Some pet kennels have veterinarians as part of their daily staff, while others only have vets part time or on call.
Most kennels can provide basic care such as administering medications, but owners of pets with serious medical issues should choose a facility with a veterinarian on call.
Bordetella, commonly known as kennel cough, is highly contagious, and most dogs catch it at least once in their lifetimes. As such, all dogs should be vaccinated at least 7 days before boarding.
