Stone Lion Inn
This was a fun experience to have with our group of friends. We dressed for the 1940's and enjoyed the murder mystery. The script was a bit hard to follow and no one was able to figure it out, but that aside, it was fun to hear that blood curdling scream when the "murder" took place. The food was good and high quality when I was there. I recall it appeared made from scratch and came in several courses. The house is very old and I feel in some ways could have been a little cleaner or better renovated, however, the creepy history and stories add to the charm. It is not in the best of neighborhoods... I suppose I was expecting the house to be a bit secluded on some land, but it is not. Breakfast the next morning was also enjoyable. The hostess tends to tell some racy and uncomfortable stories, but I think she's just trying to loosen up her audience as some feel a bit uptight from possibly seeing or hearing ghostly things during the night.
