Don't buy a membership for the basketball. I bought my son a membership because several of his friends have memberships. They all play basketball on teams at school so they know what they are doing. However, since they are only 14 years old the other players won't let them play. My son and his friends had to go there during the early afternoon when the courts were empty, but when the older people show up in the late afternoon they completely take over the court and refuse to give the kids a turn. I spoke to the manager and she informed me that there is nothing they can do about what happens on the courts. It's up to the players. I told her that the kids pay their dues and are being bullied by the adults and that wouldn't it be simple to just put up a chalkboard or a piece of PAPER so everyone could write their names down and take their turn in order? She said they couldn't do something like that because it's known that there are no RULES in the basketball court. I cancelled the membership right then of course because apparently the MANAGEMENT AGREES WITH BULLYING.

Olympic Gym
I joined because my son likes to play basketball there (although there is rarely anyone on the court for him to play with.) There is never anyone there. It is always dead, which I hate. I like being surrounded by energy and other people kickin tail but this does not offer that kind of environment (better in the weight rm but mostly guys). The cardio machines look and perform like they are from Sears. They are definitely not gym quality. I find myself running outside more to avoid having to use their squeaky equipment. Overall the place is old and run down. They have not been apart of Gold's for a while but there is still a Gold's banner hanging downstairs. I was a member back in 1995 for awhile and the same posters of Arnold Schwarzenegger are still hanging up, faded and sun bleached and tired. Fake plants and flowers in the girls locker room..... Family times are a joke. 2 hours Sat and Sun. The Sunday times are right in the middle of church so anyone going to church is outta luck. I have not interacted with the staff so I cannot comment of friendliness.

A Renaissance Health
Dr. Ana and her whole team are responsible for helping me be pain free for days at a time for the first time in decades. I am treated kindly, even if I'm a little late, and they work their tails off to make sure they take care of me.I am a high maintenance patient to have, and the entire office and team there are sooo good at making the pain relief system they have work. I see Dr. Ana for all of my issues, (celiacs, scoliosis, anxiety/depression, chrohns) and this is the first doctor I have ever found who is effective in helping me get better. They also take insurance.... I get acupuncture and massage for my copay!I can't express my gratitude enough. :)

All they care about is getting your money not about giving you what you pay to get. Employee's are rude and unable (or unwilling) to help. We went in ready to join this club and after waiting over half an hour for someone to help us (not even being allowed to walk the premises) were told we didn't qualify for their special and that we'd have to play their normal registration fee and sign a 2 year contract at their premium rate. They were rude and didn't seem to want us as members (my wife and I are over 40 and though we play a lot of sports (basketball, softball, volleyball etc) we were more out of shape with recent injuries.

Just a moment...
