I visited this business a few weeks ago. I read the reviews , it seemed a(decent place) to go to . I called and made the appointment that was requested. I arrive a few minutes early and check in as i spoke with the person on the phone and explained to her what I needed , I told her again .. she seemed confused.!! I told her that I needed a hose put on my vehicle and ac recharged. She questioned me as if she didn't know about the hose issue. She said ok I will let them know. I waited for no more than 15 minutes, then an older man assuming he was the owner comes to speak to me. This man questioned me I on how the hose had been removed etc. As if I would remove it myself !! I said I don't know. then he questioned me if the air has ever worked. Indeed it was an older car but as of last year it did work. This man then told me he wouldn't eBen touch it because of the engine size etc. Unless I purchased a (kit) which would cost 900.00 $$. Prior to that grand total he said if he fixed the hose then recharge that may not work. Then he asked me then what.. I asked what would be the next step.. Ovouisly.I I am not the mechanic. The only two good things I could say about this place is he didn't charge me for looking at it and I guess he saved me a few dollars by telling me that the hose and recharge may not work. Defiantly do your homework and check into businesses prior to visiting.

Get's the job done and doesn't cost you an arm and a leg to do it. Doesn't charge you to look at the problem and tell you what is wrong with your car. Great group of men at this place!!!

SK Builders, Inc.
We now live at Amber Oaks and our whole experience with SK Builders was and is excellent very minor issue on our home and they set up appointments immediately. There is know way to explain it except their experts in all phases of our journey from picking floor plans to our last inspection. I've bought 2 houses before with 2 different companies and never have been treated the way SK treated us with respect and friendly attitudes and the home looks and shows the pride they have in their work.

We love our new home! We just built with SK in Ellison Plantation and have been in the house about three months. Nate and Bill did an incredible job throughout the entire process. You'd be hard pressed to find a better experience, product, and value in building a new home.

Anything that needed to be addressed was in a very timely matter and corrected immediately. We love our home in Pebble Creek Village and encourage anyone that is looking for a builder to get in touch with SK Builders. I have lived in my home for a year now and I LOVE it. This whole experience has been smooth, easy and totally satisfying. They allowed me my changes as they built the home to make it customized to my taste, which is rare today. Even after closing, any questions I had were promptly taken care. Everyone I dealt with in this business was professional and helpful in all respects. I would HIGHLY reccommend them to anyone interested in having a home built.

We are beyond thrilled with our new home. The support that we received from the McAlister Realty realtor was over and above the "norm." She worked great with our realtor in helping us make great choices for our home that would suit our family. We were able to customize our home in many ways to fit our needs while still keeping our cost affordable. There were many floor plans to choose from, making SK Builders a great fit for any family. A few times during the building process, slight changes needed to be made to fit our original plans, but during all of those instances SK Builders made the adjustments necessary in a professional manner. We did have a few issues with the grading within our subdivision, but we are still in the early stages and waiting to see how it all works out when the entire subdivision is developed. Overall, we are very pleased with our decision to build with SK Builders and would recommend it to any of our friends or family.
Tips & Advices
Yes. New tires purchased online can often be priced lower than ones at a tire dealership. Buyers can often avoid state sales taxes and locate hard-to-find tire styles and sizes, but will still have to locate a local tire installer and pay sometimes high shipping costs.
The average cost of a set of new tires is $637, with a range of between $525-$725. In addition, installation includes mounting and balancing, alignment, and disposal of old tires.
The vehicle is raised and the old wheels are removed, then the old tires are removed from the wheels. The lug nuts, wheels, and valve stems are inspected and replaced as needed. The new tires are mounted and sealed, then inflated and balanced. The wheels are then replaced on the car. The average installation takes approximately 45 minutes.
Agencies such as the Tire Industry Association promotes tire safety through advocacy and education to the industry including: manufacture, sales, repair, service and recycling. Seek a full-service tire dealer who carries a wide variety of tire types and brands and asks about the type of driving you normally do.
  • Move your car to a safe location.
  • Turn on your car’s safety lights, apply the parking brakes and remove the hubcap if there is one.
  • Loosen the lug nuts with a lug wrench (but do not remove them), raise the vehicle with a jack and then fully remove the lugnuts.
  • Remove the flat tire and replace it with the spare tire.
  • Tighten the lug nuts by hand, lower the car and then tighten them fully with the lug wrench.
