Most Horrible company EVER!!!! Completely unprofessional and unreliable. I went through HELL with them for two weeks and no air during the hottest days of the summer. It took a few days to get them here and then you are given a 9am-5pm arrival time window. They will not tell you if most likely you will be in the morning or afternoon. They then will call you 30 minutes (sometimes) prior to arriving. If they do happen to dial the wrong number or miss you, they will cancel you within 10 minutes. In my case I was given freon to solve my problem with another day later failed. I then had to deal with the voicemail, no returned calls and three more full days of waiting at home to try and get them back out. It ended with a 4pm cancelation due to rain and a no call and no show the following day. If it weren't for AHS I would have never used them, because I never heard of them.... and now I know why.If you would like your air fixed and keep your sanity I highly recommend running far away from this company.

Our 46 year old thermostat didn't seem to be working so called AHS and they sent out Rentz. The tech was very polite and helpful. He said because it wasn't actually broken AHS wouldn't cover it but we could buy one from him and he could install it. Since he didn't have a programmable one, which is what I wanted, he suggested we just go buy one ourselves and install it. We bought a Lux programmable and installed it. Then we noticed that the air still wasn't working right and wouldn't shut off unless you shut off the unit. We checked with Lux and they said we installed it correctly. Then, neither the heat or air would work! So we called AHS again and they sent out Rentz again. Same nice young man. He said we installed the thermostat correctly but it may have blown out a fuse. He got under the house and said our blower was so old it was rusting away and he couldn't even get to the transformer because the door was rusted shut. He had to call AHS before he could even attempt to pry the door off because it would probably break.Next day AHS calls and tells me that Rentz called them and said we installed a thermostat incorrectly and it blew out all our fuses and they wouldn't cover us. THIS COMPANY LIED TO AHS! How do they know the fuses are blown if they couldn't even get the door to the transformer open? When I called Rentz to complain they said it was our fault and they would be happy to come out and put in a new thermostat for us at our expense. I told them what I thought and they hung up on me! And even talking to Cindy THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY she informed me that it was our fault, not theirs and nothing they could do. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!

No occupational integrity WHAT-SO-EVER!! TERRIBLE customer service. They don't answer their calls 99.99% of the time and if you leave a message for them to call you back just forget it cause it's not going to happen. The level of unprofessionalism is staggering and is not only rampant in the employees but also goes into every level of management including the OWNERS!! And to top it all off, no matter what they do wrong it's your fault and they make NO attempt to make it right. So in a word, as previously stated....... Worthless.... Do yourself a favor and get someone else to do your work.
Tips & Advices
You can keep your air conditioner running efficiently with some preventative care measures. Shut off the power to your AC before cleaning it or performing any of these tasks:  clean your filter at least twice a year; remove leaves and twigs from cages; clean the fins with a garden hose or special spray, then use a butter knife to straighten any that are crooked; keep your yard clean so the fins won't get blocked; cover the unit up for winter; and make sure it's level or you run the risk of damaging the inner workings of the unit.
To clean your air conditioner drain, first shut off the power to your unit at both the thermostat and the breaker. Then remove the drain pan. If the pan is full of water, soak up the liquid with a few towels or rags or use a wet vacuum. You can use a solution of water and distilled vinegar, or substitute peroxide for the vinegar, to clean out the drain pipe. Let the pipe sit for a while in the solution and then put all the parts back in place. Once you start using your air conditioner on a regular basis, check it periodically to ensure condensation isn't building up.
If you happen to live in a hot and humid area of the country, drainage problems can occur with your unit since moisture can trap itself inside the system. Routine maintenance can cut down on drainage issues by cleaning out any mold or algae from blocking the drain. If you notice moldy smells whenever you turn the thermostat down, check on your system.
If you notice your system is acting inconsistently, the sensor is most likely out of place. Turn off the unit and reach behind its control panel while carefully bending the sensor back into place near the evaporative coil.
Find out where the noises are coming from. A banging or clanking sound could be due to a loose part. If you hear a hissing sound, it's most likely because of a refrigerant leak and you should contact an HVAC technician as soon as possible.
