Greer Family Dental Care
I had an amazing experience! Greer Family Dental Care has a new doctor and team! I love them and I will definitely recommend the office to anyone. I didn't have any problems stated in the past review. They verified the insurance on behalf. Most offices in the past would make me pay upfront for the entire amount and get reimbursed from the dental insurance company. Not this time, I only paid my estimated portion and it was spot on! The dentist and the assistant was super friendly. I have a fear of the dentist but they made me feel so comfortable and at home. I think they made a great decision to change the doctor because it seem that the team is super happy. I got great vibes from being in the office. I hope this review helps. They really are good people and I feel like they cared about me. I didn't have to wait to go back to see the hygienist and they were able to educate me on my current dental condition and asked if I wanted to stay that day to get treatment because I have a busy schedule with work and the kids. I'm happy with Greer Family Dental Care. You should definitely try them out if you want to find a dental home. I feel like that's where I belong. Thank you everyone at the office! I'm not scared to go to the dentist anymore!

Davis, Jack DMD
I had a sore spot come up on my lower gum and I called Jack Davis he took a look and told me straight up my tooth was infected because it was dead. Antibiotics wouldn't help, he could do a 800.00 root canal which would only delay the fact it needed to come out. He done a lower x-ray and then extracted my tooth. My bill was only 75.00. He only charged me for the extraction.

Tips & Advices
  • If a tooth decays and the nerves or pulp (soft internal tissue which helps teeth develop) become inflamed or infected
  • If a tooth is cracked or broken and nerves are exposed
This generally depends on any specific issues you wish to address with your teeth. There are toothpastes designed to whiten teeth, fight cavities, decrease sensitivity, prevent bad breath, resist gingivitis, and those specific to children (with lower fluoride content). There are also toothpastes that offer “complete” protection by combining aspects of many of the above toothpastes.
It’s recommended to get a professional cleaning at least two times per year.
  • Desensitizing toothpaste numbs the nerves in the teeth that can cause discomfort.
  • Mouth guard can protect against grinding teeth during sleep.
  • Fluoride treatment can be applied by dentists to sensitive areas to numb teeth and strengthen enamel.
  • Root canal can treat problems in a tooth’s core.
  • Surgical gum graft where a piece of gum tissue is removed from a section of the mouth to cover an exposed root.
Not everyone needs to have their wisdom teeth removed, but there are certain signs that can help you and your doctor determine if yours should be:
  • Wisdom teeth are pushing other teeth around, causing pain and misalignment
  • Cysts form around newly emerged wisdom teeth, causing jaw damage
  • Gums get inflamed and swollen, causing cavities and pain
  • Doctor determine from x-rays that wisdom teeth will cause problems in the near future
