Greenwood Paint & Body, Inc.
I had some work done at this body shop and I wasn't happy with the way it looked. I took it back and showed the individual where I thought there were defects in the repairs and paint job. The man insisted that it was my imagination. I had some other work done on my car after a accident and the technician at the body shop actually told me the paint on my hood didn't match my car and that it looked really bad and would deminish the value of my vehicle. Now I'm going to have to have the car repainted at another body shop. DO NO USE THE BODY SHOP!!

Please, whatever you do, absolutely do NOT take your vehicle to this body shop. This is the most unprofessional establishment I have ever encountered and unfortunately, I'm going to have to pursue them through civil litigation due to the damage that they caused to my vehicle. I brought my Jeep to them to simply paint and install a set of fender flares. The job was simple enough and these morons couldn't even get that right. When they first attempted to return the vehicle to me, stating that the work was done, it looked as if a child had painted the flares. There was a tar-like substance plastered all over the wheel wells and under carriage. Rather than performing the job that I asked them to, they painted the flares how they wanted to and the quality of work was just embarrassing for them. Needless to say, I refused to take the vehicle in the condition they had left it in and ordered them to fix the damage. They repainted the flares and scraped the black tar off of the wheel wells and notified me that the work was completed. Less than 6 months later, the paint is beginning to eggshell and is coming off. I called Walters to inform them of what was occurring and they advised that they would fix it. That is of course until Dwayne Walters the owner started his period and decided that he was going to throw a child like tantrum over the phone. Walters refused to fix the damage that they caused and will not return calls or messages over the $1500 worth of damage they did to my Jeep. I took the vehicle to a well respected establishment for an estimate and they advised immediately that the job that Walters did was not correct and the reason why the paint was coming off was 100% their fault. I will be suing Walters for damages, travel fees for court and will be pursing them for attorneys fees as well. Please, whatever you do, DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS GROUP OF UNPROFESSIONAL INCOMPETENTS.

Church Brothers Collision Repair
In September of 2002 my Honda CRV was severely damage during a tornado and required major repairs to the body from rocks and a tree falling on it. Church Brothers in Greenwood, IN did a beautiful job repairing and repainting the entire body. In October 2014 I returned the Honda because the roof was blistering and inquired if it was still under warranty. Yes, and the roof was repainted and looks like new.No, charge and warranty certificate if it ever occurred again. The staff at Church Brothers, Greenwood, IN were very friendly and said "NO Charge". I appreciate this service. Bob Burke, Martinsville, IN

Tips & Advices
Using a variety of tools and processes, many of which require specialized training, auto body mechanics primarily repair cosmetic and structural damage to vehicles after accidents occur. They can also enhance a vehicle’s appearance and performance by replacing and adding new parts to a vehicle’s body.
This depends on the severity of the work that needs to be done. Something such as paintless dent repair for a few small dents can take an hour. Whereas auto body repairs for damages caused by a major accident can take multiple days to correct.
All auto body parts can be repaired but there is a threshold for the level of repairs possible. Parts can be damaged beyond repair and would need to be wholly replaced.
Auto body parts can be made from a wide variety of materials, usually based on what the part’s purpose is. Vehicle frames body panels, bumpers, roof racks, and other items that need to be strong and durable are usually constructed from steel, which is known for its durability and resistance to rust and high temperatures. But aluminum is quickly becoming a popular material of construction due to its lightweight yet durable nature. Body kits and other aftermarket parts like spoilers and hoods can be constructed from one form of plastic or another.
Yes, the vast majority of car makes and models have aftermarket parts available for many of their components. But higher-end vehicles typically have less aftermarket parts available since they often use specialized materials and manufacturing processes that are difficult to duplicate for many aftermarket manufacturers.
