Upstate Gold Exchange
When I walked in I was pretty surprised from the get go. usually these places are kind of creepy, along with the employees. I heard of Upstate Gold Exchange from Bobby Mac on the radio, and also heard others on the WORD station suggest them. These are pretty smart men... so why not give it a shot. I was blown away by the small, quaint and very professional operation they have going on in there. Michael, the store manager assisted me in my trade of Silver. He used chemicals and a rubbing rock to determine the value and content of my metals. Explained what he was using and why, explained market values, and how to appraise the metals worth. They gave me a great value for a chain necklace that had been sitting in a coffee cup in a desk at my folks house for years... Knowing that I would never wear it I took it up here. Now, the staff was very helpful and the exchange rate was awesome... but what really blew me away was the amount of historic pieces that they have on display for trade or purchase!!!!!!!!! Being a history buff... I walked out of there with a $50 Confederate Note printed in 1864!!!! Great condition. Michael pulled out a book that showed you the value of the old money, who was on the note, and how to tell if the notes are fake or genuine. I learned a lot in the 20 minute conversation that I had. Great business!!!! No wonder why you guys are so highly recommended!!! I will return for sure to pick up some more Confederate memorabilia in the future!

When my wife's wedding ring broke, I called these guys and asked can you fix it? They said sure no problem! So I packed up the ring and talked to Lou and told him this was the second or third time the setting failed and she lost the diamond..He suggested changing to a different style setting and showed me a new diamond that was even more brilliant than the original. I asked how long he would need to fix it and he said, How does by Friday look. Well sure enough by Thursday it was done and looked awesome. IF you need some jewelery new or repaired I wouldnt call anybody else.THANKS LOU!

I walked in to get my favorite necklace repaired. Marcia was so helpful and fixed it literally in less than two minutes for me! I thought I would have to drop it off and come back sometime the following week, but she fixed it right on the spot in no time! The jewelry in the store is absolutely gorgeous and the prices are very good. The employees are very welcoming and friendly! My family and I will definitely be going back to Paradise Jewelers in the future!

Are these employee reviews? The one thing this place has going for it is they have Christian music playing when you walk in....Which, being in the bible belt is going to appeal to many people.Nothing was explained to me, but I had done research online, so I had an idea. You basically walk up to a counter like everywhere else.Yes, there is cool stuff you can buy....Pricing is middle of the road, had a better quote from another place.

I brought a old family ring to Lou, to make into a cross for my daughters confirmation. The result was beyond words could ever say. Lou was awesome with the design. It is more than my daughter or I could have ever hoped for. If you need repairs or design work I urge you to go see Lou and Marcia, they will NOT disappoint. I'm so glad I found them.

My wife's watch needed a battery replacement. I walked in to see if they can help. Not only were they exceedingly helpful and courteous, they serviced the watch in minutes. The charge ($15.95) was also very reasonable. I highly recommend this business for any jewelry/watch repair service one may need.
