Do not go to Bravo expecting "traditional" (as in what the typical Mexican restaurant in the southern U.S. cause I've never actually been to Mexico and can't rightly say what is truly traditional) Mexican food. First, the cheapest item on the menu is about $8, I'm used to the $6 combos. There are no Enchiladas, no Chile Rellenos, no pablamos, no beans and rice that come with each meal, mariachi band music, no latin music at all, in fact, I don't think there was even a Mexican that worked there. I had a taco steak salad. It looked more like a steak salad with a flower tortilla as the bowl. No guacamole, no sour cream, no ground cumin or chili in the seasoning of the meat. It tasted good. Actually tasted like a cheeseburger salad, but not a "taco salad". My friend had one with the ground beef. It tasted o.k., but the ground beef was seasoned more like a sloppy joe or even pasta sauce than "Mexican" seasoning. Anywho...the food was not BAD.. it just wasn't what we expected.
My daughter and I ate here for the first time today. The food was wonderful and the portions were large. We had plenty of leftovers to take home. The wait staff was very attentive. We never had to ask for drink refills. Our waitress was Shannon and she did a great job. The manager stopped by our table to ask how if everything was to our satisfaction. He gave us a large piece of a wonderful cake for free since it was our first visit. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
Sabroso continues to serve the highest quality food in the area. They make fantastic fajitas, and their chicken fajitas wrap is unbelievable with alot of food but only $8.99. If you want a great burger loaded with alot of fries for only $7.99 sabroso is the place to go. Marcus makes the absolute best tasting burritos in town , but our favorite is their hot salsa. You cant go wrong with sabroso, and their make their own salad dressings not loaded with MSG.
My boyfriend and I used to go to The Local Taco one night a week, every week! We have only had one bad experience due to us sitting at a table for 20 minutes before the waitress even acknowledged us. She never refilled our drinks, or came back to check on us at all until she brought us the check. OTHER THAN THAT; its awesome! Great food! Great service! Great prices! It's a cool little spot. Will be back, and would recommend for sure!
Best meat and three in town! Very reasonable and very friendly staff. Home cooking, and home made. The kitchen staff are delightful as well. Best mac and cheese and fried chicken I've ate in a while. Gotta go by and check out the menu! Lots to choose from, even sales burgers and salad and breakfast all day long. Omelets are melt in your mouth!
My wife is pregnant w twins and has been craving some good food. I found Acropolis using the YP mobile app on my iPhone, and we have been fans ever since. Very friendly staff, excellent food, I highly recommend the steak and cheese sub. If you are new to Greenville, you def need to give Acropolis a try!
All of the best folks in town frequent here. Locally owned since 2000 by the same owner operator. Blessed with the freshest locally subsidized organic veggies, grass-fed beef, hormone free meats, and several gluten-free options with a huge selection of beers, liquors & drafts.
Really unusual, ethnic sweet foods. Had Navaho chicken with chorizo mac & cheese, absolutely fabulous! Forget the bbq sauce, the spices are incredible. The Canyon Burger had running down your arm blue cheese with Parmesan ripped potatoes that were out of this world!
My fiancé (who is half Thai) and I eat here a lot. The food is awesome and we enjoy it the best compared to the many other options of Thai that we have in the area. Their pad Thai is the best and the green curry with beef is amazing as well.
Great location and atmosphere. We sat outside during Friday Night Jazz and had a wonderful evening. Service was a tiny bit slow, but they were packed, so I don't blame them. Great place and look forward to going back
