Vidant Health Pain Management Greenville
I'm no longer dissatisfied with this company. They are showing they do care about my overall health after all and they are taking the necessary steps to try and help me. For that I am truly grateful !

I discourage anyone from seeing Whit Covington. I have been seeing him since I ended an abusive relationship and have dealt with pain. He gave me medicine and we tried to see if it was just like a temporary pain. Eventually HE told me it was chronic. After all this time, around a week ago, he realized that he had been prescribing me toxic amounts of the pain medicine I had been taking for those years. He wanted to pin blame on me for it but he was never clear on directions so I just followed the bottle. So when they weren't filling it on time I took one Percocet from a year old prescription of mine, I don't like the way they make me feel but didn't want withdrawal. So he tested me and saw oxidant in my urine and the perc. He wouldn't believe me when I said I never altered my urine. I was wearing a dress there was no way. He called me a drug seeker and said I was probably not even in pain. He cut me off of medicine cold turkey so I've had bad withdrawal. I have never been so offended!

My experience for going to Doctor Ribeiro office for years had been a good ones and he and his staff have give excellent services very caring and concern about their patients and He is a Pastor and a leader in and outside his community He a great man of God He do work in and outside of his ministry. Where there is work you will find Dr. Ribeiro there. A man who love his family and his community far and near. Dr. Ribeiro and his staff you can count on them. Any Doctor office you go in there is a waiting time. For those that don't have patience it does seen like you are waiting forever. I Rate this off of my experience and not my opinion. So if you would chose a Doctor or doctor office Greenville express would be one of those doctor office. Excellent Doctor and staff. Many thanks to the staff of Greenville Express Care, Pa

This "doctors office" doesn't care about their patients, all they care about is getting someone's money. Don't waste your time or your money.

Thank you for not trusting your patient to do what you would nit take 2 minutes to do... While I sit here up again tonight w a horrible toothache so bad I'm drowling can't hardly eat or sleep it gives me an ear ache I feel like a bulldozer is sitting on my gum digging in it! I would not wish this on my worst enemy. I don't thunk God or Dr. Ribero would not appreciate this disregard of human feelings when you are suppose to keep me feeling good as possible as healthy as possible! He is a preacher & well respected Doctor with a reputation to keep. I pray you never have this debilitating err emergency. This field of work doesn't get enough attention as it should. Wish I could change it. Have you ever heard a cats claws in tin? Constantly rubbing against metal together over and over... IT SUCKS!! Thanks for the antibiotics that's what's important the point is if a patient doesn't walk out feeling better relieved or healthy safe & if they don't shame on them God will take care if it! -Love in Christ Mrs. Smith

NEVER USE THIS OFFICE!!!! My account was current, paid off and up to date. Six months ago they sent me a refund check. I reluctantly cashed it (after waiting a month) and now they want their money back, stating that I have unpaid bills from 2009! First, the fact that it took them six months to realize their mistake…SAD! Then, I spoke with Edith Risto in accounting on 12-28-12. She was to talk to other people in the accounting department and call me back the following week. As of January 23, 2013 I had not received a call. So again, I wasted my time trying to contact her, only to encounter a rude and blame placing woman. Basically, be prepared to be charged double if you ever use this office! Their accounting department is obviously filled with employers who are inadequate or just choose not to do their job. And when they make a mistake, they do NOT follow the cardinal rule which holds them accountable! I'm just disgusted right now! You'd be better off at the ED than this place! And this website forced me to give them a 1 star rating. I tried for zero stars, but you have to give them at least one. :/
Tips & Advices
This depends on the facility. Patients should call to find out if they'll need a referral from their physician prior to making an appointment.
Aside from hyperbaric oxygen treatment, most wound care centers offer:
  • Debridement: The removal of dead skin and tissue surrounding the wound. This can be done surgically, using a whirlpool bath, syringes, enzymes that dissolve the tissue, or wet dressings that dry on the wound and absorb the dead tissue.
  • Dressing: Wrapping the wound in a protective film, gauze, gel, or foam.
  • Compression stockings: Tight-fitted fabric sheaths that encourage blood flow.
  • Artificial skin: A covering that is applied to the wound for several days as it heals.
  • Ultrasound: The use of sound waves to promote healing.
  • Growth factor therapy: The use of materials naturally produced by the body to encourage quick cell growth.
  • Negative pressure therapy: Creating a vacuum around a wound to encourage faster blood flow to the area.
Depending on where the treatment is administered, hyperbaric oxygen treatment  can cost $100- $1,000. After insurance is applied, patients may have a copay of $10 -$50 or a coinsurance fee of 10 percent to 50 percent.
Most wounds should heal within two to six weeks. An individual should seek chronic wound treatment if a wound has not begun to heal after two weeks or is not completely healed after six.
Most health insurance plans cover wound care. Patients should check with the clinic and their health insurance provider before seeking treatment to be sure.
