I placed an order by phone. I was told pretty curtly that I'd have to be called back after the part was pulled. I got the callback, returned the call, and told the gentleman who answered that I was calling to complete my order. "What do you mean by 'order'?" he asked me. I said, "Uh, I would like to pay for it and have it sent to me." He said, "Well, where do you live?" I told me. He said, "Hang on a second." He came back after a while and took my card number without giving me a total. The two stars are assuming that I get the parts OK. I realize it's a salvage company, but, come on -- don't let people answer the phone who have no idea how to speak to other human beings.

Matthews Tire
Have been to Matthew's a handful of times between two vehicles. O.k. job on brake work, but for any advanced issues - I'd go somewhere else. My husband's truck was backfiring & he was losing acceleration. Matthew’s wanted to do $1000 worth of work including replacing the intake manifold gaskets, etc. Took it for a 2nd opinion & it was an up stream O2 sensor! Seems like they were guessing at why the truck wasn’t running right & it almost cost me 10X the price. Went to AutoPro & Truck on Verlin Rd. & the owner couldn’t understand why Matthew’s was suggesting that kind of work be done.

I needed a front hub bareing replaced on my 4X4 jimmy. I had the part and was just looking to get it installed. other shops wanted me to make a time to bring it in for estamate and then set a time to come back for the repair and wanted $100+ to do it.He did it for $75 on the spot. I was so happy when he said pull it in the shop and as soon as my guy gets back from lunch we can get it done for you. And he did not jack me around. Finale cost= $80. I gave him 4 twentys and said keep the change. If I need any other work I will be going back. Nice people, good work, fair price. A++

Tires Unlimited
Just called to have them put 4 new tires on my 2011 WRX. They told me to head on over without an appointment and took care of me within 15 minutes. The shop is definitely not your super clean fancy establishment, heck the place doesn't even have heat in the winter, but that doesn't matter. The worker was very helpful, talkative and honest. Their no BS approach to tires is a good change from the norm. Fair pricing, genuine people. Highly recommend them.

American Auto Transmission
This was the 6th place in a month we took our vehicle to for noise while decelerating. The place before here told us it was a transmission or transfer case issue, referring us here. Before we traded in our vehicle for a newer one, we decided to call. So happy we did! They diagnosed our noise within 30 minutes. Instead of a $2k fix, it was under $100 and a new U-Joint. The noise is gone! I highly recommend everyone to take their vehicles here!

Went to a big chain for my breaks and they quoted me 800, saying all my breaks were bad and that everything needed to be replaced. Then I went here when they called me back for the quote they said I truly only needed my back break pads done with the routers and gave me a great price. I will now take my car here for any problem greatly impressed!

I highly recommend Packerland Tire & Auto Repair(new name)! Sean and Mick stayed to fix my unsafe truck. I was in a pinch, my truck was unsafe to drive and they took care of it for a very reasonable price. I trust them and will take all of our business to them and recommend my family and friends to them. You can trust them!

Our relationship with this firm goes back 40 years. When my wife worked at James River Paper Corp. she had all company vehicles serviced by these fellas. After she left we continued to have our personal vehicles serviced by the firm. These guys are professional, honest, and competent. No betterplace to go in town.Bob F.

Matthews Tire
Over the years, my family and I have regularly taken in 6 cars to the Green Bay location of Matthews Tire, and we couldn't be happier. The customer service is excellent, the work has consistently been top-knotch, and I wouldn't even consider getting tires or auto repairs done anywhere else. Highly recommended!

Clement's Auto & Truck Repair
Was able to drop my van off in the middle of the night and the next day I get call saying it's all fixed and ready to go. Was able to make the trip that our family was not if we would have been able to make it. We made it and safe and sound because of Bob and his awesome staff at Clement's Auto.
Tips & Advices
You should change your oil filter whenever you change your oil, that is, approximately every 7,500 miles.
A oil filter is a device that helps remove contaminants from motor oil as it passes through the engine. A pump pushed the oil through the filter where it is strained and goes back to the engine.
High-mileage oil contains special conditioners that are said to help prevent gaskets from drying out and thus preventing leaks. This can be beneficial to engines with many miles on them.
Synthetic oil costs more than conventional oil, but the price is offset by the need for less frequent oil changes due to the oil’s durability.
Tools needed to change your own oil include jack stands or ramps, a wrench, an oil filter wrench, an oil drip pan, funnel, replacement oil filter, and replacement oil.
