I have very fluffy, Antonia Thomas/Erykah Badu textured hair, and this I'd the only place I've been to that does my hair very well. I always walk in looking crazy and walk out looking amazing. My favorite stylist is Alayna. She's the only stylist I've met who seems enthusiastic to work on my hair. I was terrified to go to a salon after experiences years ago, but after 15 years I walked in one day, and I've been there almost every month since! Everyone I've had work done by was very thorough. I had my eyebrows done today and my stylist, Anna asked me if there were any further corrections she'd like me to make, when she was done. One hair was out of place and she graciously clipped it and finished perfecting my eyebrows with no attitude or excuses, unlike every other place I've been to. The staff seems to truly care about making sure their clients look their best. This is my only salon from now on.
I was so excited when I found out that they do Ouidad haircuts, but I was pretty disappointed with my experience. I've read time & time again that curly hair should never ever ever be cut wet, so I assumed that the Ouidad cut would be a dry cut to shape my curls. However, as soon as I met with my stylist, she lead me over to the washers and immediately wet down my hair. I wanted a shorter cut with layers so that my curls would frame my face, but the layers I ended up with are all close to the same length and I tend to get that awful triangle shape now. I know to be a Ouidad stylist it takes special training, but it seems like they just claim to be a Ouidad salon and aren't really.. All in all, I feel my $85 ($100 with a tip) haircut was something I could have gotten for $20 at another salon. :(
Came as a walk in, they told me it'd be a 15 wait. I was fine with that. They sat me down while a young woman files my gel polish off. Then she asked me to move to another station; she continued to file my acrylics. The tool was super hot and she was very rough, not looking at me once since I sat in her station. She then just gets up and walks away and starts working on someone else. No one says anything to me for over 5 minutes. Finally once again I'm told to move to another station. The young man apologized and finished my nails (no polish because after over a hour, I had to leave). He did do a pretty good jobs on my fill but the customer service was horrible.
While this place is not at all big and fancy, the staff is funny and terrific. I've been going to them every since they reopened with new management to get my mani and pedicures. The best thing about them that they're the ONLY place willing to take care of my ingrown toenails and they do a phenomenal job and pricing is very reasonable. The nail art are amazing...crazy about my designs. LOTS of them...check it out their facebook.com/ielegantnails ? i think?? They are the best. Love'em. :) TOTALLY RECOMMENDED. Tell them Sabina sent ya.
I got a shellac manicure at the Main Salon a few weeks ago. The Pros: nice atmosphere, manicurists friendly and talkative. Cons: Very few choices of shellac nail color . Worst of all, my nails began chipping only 3 days after my manicure. As you probably know, shellac should last at least 2 weeks. By day 5, all of my nails had significantly chipped. Also, no oils/lotion or massage on my hands once the polish was on-my favorite part of a manicure was skipped altogether! I'll definitely not be back for a shellac manicure again.
Absolutely adore this place! iElegant nails does the trick. They charge $30 for a pedi and can usually get me right in without needing an appointment. What's more, they are always seem pleased to see me when I walk through the door. iElegant nails girls are lovely and smiley - just a top notch service. My nails look fab all the time. Going to get my Shellac mani done tomorrow - I love going there with my friends to unwind. By far the best nail salon in Green Bay....
I haven't had a pedicure in over 2 years so my feet were in pretty F* shape. I saw the reviews on YP and was so pleased to find a place in Green Bay well reviewed. I was a walk in client on a Thursday and they were able to help me right away. The ladies were just friendly and the pedicure price is RIGHT. The salon is very clean and lots of designs available. The lady who did my toes did such a good job on my nasty feet, that I will return for my nails.
Hands down- The BEST haircuts I've ever received in my entire life have been at Elements! I have been going to Kristie for 8 years now, and she makes me (or at least my hair ;-) look like a super model every time. Her experience, skills, and training with Ouidad on thick, naturally curly hair is worth every penny of my two $80 cuts every year (regular in-between cuts are less than half that, but the curly cut and style is simply amazing)!
This place is great! The best hair cut and color I've ever received. I was greeted with a warm beverage, was given a tour of the spa (I've already booked a facial!) and left looking great! The stylist was very friendly and gave me great advice on a new look. I couldn't be happier. The hand and scalp massage was a wonderful bonus. I will most definately recommend this place to my friends. Spa Day here we come!
