Grapevine Ford Lincoln
I use Aaron McBride in the Service Department Scheduling. He is very conscientious, knowledgeable, respectful and why I keep coming back to GFL. We try and keep our business in Grapevine and have bought our Ford's in Grapevine for 20 years. I have a 2014 Ford Escape and I love it. I especially love the SYNC and Bluetooth features. I love the GFL dealership because it is close to my home and I can come and get it washed, vacuumed or serviced anytime they are open. The people are really courteous, knowledgeable, and I feel, have my best interests in mind while I am there. The Mustang Café has great food and it is a nice place to hang out if you do have some work while getting your car or truck serviced. The club chairs and very comfortable and there is plenty of space for people to come and go. There is also a children's play room. It looks like a nice place to work.

Grapevine Automatic INC
Excellent Customer Service / Pride in work Oct 10, 2011 by Don Hopkins Grapevine automatic rebuilt a transmission in an older pick-up of mine and backed the rebuild with a year guarantee / warranty. The trany worked fine and I had no problems. Several months after the warranty expired I experienced a small leak, took it back to Grapevine Automatic and Rob @ Grapevine Automatic took time to investigate, drive the vehicle and determine what the cause...he did this as part of the backed warranty / guarantee and in my opinion demonstrated excellent customer service. With this level of customer service and demonstration of the pride in their work, I would have absolutely no problem recommending Grapevine Automatic to someone needing Auto & or Transmission repair.

When I was searching for a new transmission shop for my FLEET, I called ROB to come out to our location. I explained what I wanted and in return he explained what he could do as far as time and money. I have had several shops that talk a good game wanting your business and many have received it only to be disappointed in the time frame and the final cost. I'm well aware that each model year and make of vehicle presents a different situation along with the condition of the transmission when received. Rob has always kept me up to date on the status of each the current job. I'm only going to use one word to describe my relationship with Grapevine Automatic, and that is trust.

Grapevine Automotive Services
my van threw a belt and sheared a bolt on the way to the airport. I had to find a shop quick. if I had to break down I could not have found a better place. though they couldn't get to it that day because I pulled in at 4:20, they got the work done the next day, did a great job, and didn't charge me an arm and a leg despite having me over a barrel. if they weren't an hour away from where I live I would bring them all my work. I need to find someone like these guys closer to home.thanks for the great work, courtesy, and very reasonable price.

Grapevine Automotive Services
A friend of mine suggested I tried Grapevine Automotive after having some issues with the BMW dealership. I was impressed at their professionalism and I have never, ever felt taken advantage or lied to. No superfluous flushes or air filter have ever been recommended to me. The best thing is that they really, truly stand behind their work and will go above and beyond to make me feel valued and that the job has been done correctly.

I go through Kevin Magee in Fleet Service for our companies vehicles. He always gives a quote up front and our invoices match the quote. He understands we have a sense of urgency when one of company vehicles are out of service and follows up at all stages of repair.Just an added benefit, I also drive a Ford Edge as my personal vehicle, and Kevin takes care of my service needs also. Never had a problem with their service!

Grapevine Motors
I bought a Chrysler Sebring convertible here in 2008 and loved it! Grapevine Motors was excellent! Tim Miller, the owner, is one of the most trustworthy individuals I have ever known. He doesn't bring in junk on the lot... he's very discriminating when purchasing inventory! You can have complete confidence in purchasing a vehicle here. If I still lived in Texas, I'd most certainly go back!

Quality Automotive
I've been using Ronnie at Quality Automotive for years. He fixes my car right the first time at a much lower cost than all the "name brand" shops. If you are looking for an honest and efficient shop, Quality Automotive is the right place!
Tips & Advices
Among the common scams pulled are needless repairs, where a garage charges you for work that isn't necessary. Another popular one is attracting customers through a cheap oil change or tire pressure check. Then, when you your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill. The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done so you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out. Also, clean out fan ducts and other ventilation sources necessary for summertime driving.
Some fixes to your car can be done without paying a specialist. Issues like replacing oil and air filters are relatively simple, with instructions provided in the owner's manual on how to make these changes. The same goes for replacing broken windshield wipers or burnt-out headlights. Such issues should be repaired quickly to guarantee safety, but don't require a visit to a garage.
Yes. Not every type of auto repair work needs to be done by a certified mechanic. You can fix some of a vehicle's issues just by paying attention to how the automobile is running and having a basic understanding of auto repair. Look over the ways weather may impact your car and what preventative measures you can take to avoid having to take it into the shop.
