Mat Tibbits Plumbing
Do not use this plumber!! He charged me for plumbing and did not hook up the shower drain under the house. He was also to put a gas line in and never returned or would he return my phone calls. Poor customer service. PAC West inc came out and finished what Mattew Tibitts Plumbing did not.

Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Josephine & Jackson Counties
My name is Larry King n my sewer was backing up. I called Mr. Rooter and in 20 minutes they showed up. Jack got out of his van n took over. He did tests to see where the problem was. This was at 4:30pm. After tests and a camera he knew where the problem was. He called to get some help because it was a big job n they said he was on his own. He dug a hole with a jack hammer n a shovel. This lasted a few hours. Jack told us that he needed bigger machinery to get to the cause of the problem. Jack was there 6 hours he also missed having dinner and spending time with his family. Jack insisted on staying because he has INTEGRITY? What a great young man. He stayed until 11:30pm.The next day he brought William. They were able to find a metal plug 3 hundred yards from the home that was the problem. They were able to fix the problem on a temp. basis as it was going to be a big job n time to fix. Steve you should be proud to have Jack working for you. He is an asset. Great job Jack. Thanks Larry King.
Tips & Advices
  • Before calling a plumber, try to unclog your drains and toilets yourself by using a plunger.
  • Make sure you use a standard bell-shaped plunger for your sink and shower drains and a plunger with a flanged end for your toilets.
  • If neither type can loosen the pipe blockage, put a plumber's snake to use.
  • Ratchet the snake down the pipe to eliminate any clogs.
Usually, a leaky or dripping faucet is an easy fix that can be done by anyone who is even slightly handy with tools.. To fix it, first shut off the water under the sink then remove any decorative parts of the faucet and replace the washer and O-ring before reassembling everything.
To keep yourself safe from fraud or a possible scam, always remember to ask plumbers for their license along with a written warranty for their labor. Besides this, further safeguard yourself by checking their references and ensure they or their company is insured and bonded to do their work.
If you're having hot water issues, you can examine the thermostat and adjust it accordingly. If you hear odd sounds coming from your water heater, it could be due to sediment building up. To get rid of this, make sure you clean out the heater every few months. However, if you hear a boiling noise, it could mean the heater is overheating and you should call a plumbing professional as soon as possible.
Frozen pipes are hazardous and can cause massive amounts of damage to your home. To prevent your pipes from freezing during the winter, run your faucets at a trickle and keep your house's heater at 55 degrees Fahrenheit or above to keep the water flowing.
