Linda Gates responded very quickly to our attempt to submit a claim after we had extensive tornado damage. She is a true professional who answered our questions promptly and accurately and helped us through the process of getting our claim filed. Have been with Gates for over 25 years and don't think we could find a better agency to work with

I havent known Chris from Fortress Partners for that long, but already now I know that he is someone I can trust. I am looking forward to a long relationship with his independent agency handling first my commercial insurance, and in time also my personal insurance.

Brett Younce - State Farm Insurance Agent
Been doing business with State Farm most my days. Never had better service than what's provided at this branch. I think Hope O might be a troll. Many family and friends use this branch and never heard a bad review. Sometimes they have donuts for customers.

No, homeowners insurance is a nondeductible expense. The only case in which it’s not is if part of the home is used home for business, then the square footage used for that purposes could be deductible.
Without homeowners insurance, you may be fully responsible for the costs of repairing damages to a home and for replacing belongings that get damaged or stolen. Also when applying for a home loan, most banks require that borrowers have home insurance. Banks treat these loans as investments and home insurance acts as a protection of these investments.
Earthquakes, floods, tornadoes, and other natural disasters are not typically covered by home insurance--there are separate insurance coverages for them that can be purchased.
It does not cover anything dealing with vehicles or items within vehicles. Protection from natural disasters is also rarely covered automatically.
