Manager or supervisor was extremely rude, told me to come back for a refund on a mirror, after I drove back he balled me out and reniged on his word.

Eagle Auto Body Parts Wholesale
Bought a fender. Eagle sent wrong part. Fender is too short for car. Said they wouldn't take it back because I didn't have original cord board it came in. Girl at phone made this decision. We use a ton of part and just opening a rebuilding shop. Rude-smart mouth employee. Will buy somewhere else and cancel the paperwork to buy from Eagle we were just finishing.

Alamo Trucks Auto Sales & Part
After calling ahead and driving around for hours trying to find these people per their instructions, I get there just a little before closing and am told that they either don't have the rims they told me about, or that they were under a car and it was too late to look, come back tomorrow. I live 3 hours out of Dallas, had just had a horrific experience with road debris that had sent me in their direction in the first place, and had to drive home on a spare tire without a rim because it was too late to visit any one else. I had called ahead, given all my information--that rim should have been sitting out and ready for me. They were rude, treated my husband like dirt, ignored him when he went into the office, offered him other products that weren't even close to the right size. "Maybe this will fit". We arrive home after 10:00pm exhausted and without the part we needed. Deal with these people at your own risk.

Christian Brothers Automotive- Green Oaks
I brought our 2005 Scion tc in to this shop after calling and asking what it would cost to replace the alternator. I was told that it would be 350 for the part and 60 in labor. To me that is 410, now I can understand it being a little bit higher with tax and all, however it was 812. That is almost double to price. In fact it would have be cheaper to take it to the dealer. Now in what world is the dealer cheaper. Beware of companies hiding behind god.

Christian Brothers Automotive- Green Oaks
i got some small work done here (cabin and engine filter replaced) and they did a great job. however, i held off on other work that needed to be done because their estimates seemed really high. later, when i called them to get my a/c fixed, their estimate was easily $1000 more than any other place i called. i ended up getting work done at Brian Crawford Auto Care in Arlington and they've done a great job.
Tips & Advices
Using a variety of tools and processes, many of which require specialized training, auto body mechanics primarily repair cosmetic and structural damage to vehicles after accidents occur. They can also enhance a vehicle’s appearance and performance by replacing and adding new parts to a vehicle’s body.
This depends on the severity of the work that needs to be done. Something such as paintless dent repair for a few small dents can take an hour. Whereas auto body repairs for damages caused by a major accident can take multiple days to correct.
All auto body parts can be repaired but there is a threshold for the level of repairs possible. Parts can be damaged beyond repair and would need to be wholly replaced.
Auto body parts can be made from a wide variety of materials, usually based on what the part’s purpose is. Vehicle frames body panels, bumpers, roof racks, and other items that need to be strong and durable are usually constructed from steel, which is known for its durability and resistance to rust and high temperatures. But aluminum is quickly becoming a popular material of construction due to its lightweight yet durable nature. Body kits and other aftermarket parts like spoilers and hoods can be constructed from one form of plastic or another.
Yes, the vast majority of car makes and models have aftermarket parts available for many of their components. But higher-end vehicles typically have less aftermarket parts available since they often use specialized materials and manufacturing processes that are difficult to duplicate for many aftermarket manufacturers.
