Hayward Brothers Lawn Services
Well, they completed the lawn service weekly up until the last part of September. My grass was only cut in the front and not the back, they did not return the next week to cut the entire lawn. My lawn looks a mess, no message from them stating that they were done for the season. I sent an email, left VM message on phone with no return call back or even a response from them. Very unprofessional in my opinion. To the Haywood Brothers, if you take on a responsibility at least take the responsibility and let your customer know if you are done for the season. It's not right to just stop your service without notification!!!!!! Hope others won't experience this!!!!!!!!!!!

Diamond Lawn Care
Called and informed they needed to come back to finish plowing. Never returned and do not complete jobs. On many attempts to ask for them to come back. They never returned. Upsetting and would not recommend.

Lush Lawn
I received a sales call from Lush Lawn in December of 2013. I explained to the man on the phone that I would like an estimate for services to get rid of moles. Today, April 16, 2014, lush lawn came to my home and while no one was home went ahead and treated my lawn for the mole issue and left a bill for 215.00 on my front door. When I called and spoke to Samantha, the office manager, she played a recording where I agreed to the service. I never agreed to the service I only agreed to a free estimate which I never received. And for the record, she did not have the entire conversation recorded. I believe that the cut and paste the recording to make it sound as though I agreed to the service. I NEVER agreed for their service. I would not recommend Lush Lawn to anyone!!!

The Grasshoppers Lawn Care Services
This is the best lawn care service I have ever used! They are much more affordable than the company I was using. AND to top it off, they are really nice. My sister has been telling me to switch to them for over a year. But since I don't like change, I never listened. A few months ago I decided to give them a shot. And boy do I wish I would have done this a long time ago. I have been recommending them ever since!!!!

Tips & Advices
Employers must conduct all required training in a language and vocabulary that workers can understand. Training must demonstrate the hazards of operating certain machinery, like stone cutters and splitters, as well as how to use them appropriately. It's important to verify that your landscape contractor has taken the necessary steps to fully train its personnel and that the appropriate safety precautions are in place.
Check the specific regulations for your area, and verify that your contractor has the necessary licenses. These may include a state contractor's license, pesticide license, CDL driver's license and license to sell and purchase nursery stock.
Landscape work is not cheap, so it's in your best interest to make sure that it's done to your requirements and that you get the best contractor to do the job. Homeowners should know how much they'll need to pay for the contractor's service as well as how they will be billed for this work. Ask about any design fees, if quoted prices are fixed or estimates, and what the payment process will be. Clarifying these items in the beginning will prevent any surprise expenses.
Yes. Homeowners should require that the contractor submit certificates verifying compliance with safety, insurance, workers' compensation and drug and alcohol testing programs. This will give you peace of mind that the contractor has gone through all the steps under industry regulations.
Yes. Every good contractor should have a list of recently completed jobs that you can see in their portfolio. They should also have a list of references that you can contact, or properties that you can see in person.
