Cozy Critters
I started taking our Maltese to Cozy Critters when we moved to Granbury 2 years ago. We have been so very pleased with Tye's work. Coconut always looks great (and happy) when I pick her up. Tye gives Coconut affection and much attention during her visits. We have never had a problem in setting up an appointment as Tye is very flexible with her schedule. The kennels are placed where a client can see them, and are always clean. We have also used her boarding service. The rates are very reasonable and again, great care is always given to make sure our dog is well taken care of. We have left her with Tye anywhere from 2 days to 4 weeks, and during that time, we receive texts and photo's of our very happy puppy. The play area outside is well fenced and clean. Highly recommend Cozy Critters!

Cozy Critters
I have been using Cozy Critters for my 3 dogs since moving to Granbury in 2013. I have always had a fantastic experience. Ty has built a stronge trust with me by demonstrating how well she knows each dog's personality. This shows me she takes a personal interest in each pet. I never have to worry when boarding my dogs because she treats them like her own. They always get excited when we pull up because they know their about to be loved and spoiled. For people who love their pets, you understand how important that is. As for the grooming service, my pets have alway come back to me squeaky clean. I like how Ty is willing to modify a breed standard cut to whatever I request. She checks with me each visit to make sure I am pleased with her work. I feel very lucky to have found Cozy Critters.

Gigi's Pet Grooming
An awesome place to have your babies groomed! The staff is friendly and caring, your pet's are never kenneled, they socialize and my babies are worn out when they get home. I am sorry about the loss of your little poodle, however, they do require vacc records and distemper is airborne. Had you're little dog been vaccinated against? I would recommend anyone and everyone to Gigis!!

Scruffy To Fluffy Inc
Amazing service and atmosphere will continue to take my dog to Scruffy to Fluffy... The woman taking care of my peanut did exactly what I asked in a very timely manner.. My little dog is usually very upset after the groomer but he was happy as can be when I picked him up..

Tips & Advices
Some pet groomers have viewing areas where owners can sit and watch their pets being treated. Most prevent owners from being in the same room as the pet, however, as the owner's presence might cause the pet to become too excited.
Pets that cannot interact with strangers do not make good professional grooming candidates. Sometimes medication can help, but some groomers don't take animals that have been sedated. If a pet becomes too unruly, a groomer may end the session entirely.
It's best to fully vaccinate pets before bringing them to their first grooming appointment. Dogs should receive the DA2PPC vaccine, which stands for canine distemper, canine andenovirus type 2, canine parvovirus, and parainfluenza. It's also a good idea to vaccinate dogs against Bordedatella (aka “kennel cough”). In fact, New York City requires dogs receive both DAPP and Bordetella shots. Cats, meanwhile, should get the FVRCP vaccine: feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus infection, and panleukopenia. In addition, all pets should be up to date on their rabies shots. Owners should wait at least 24 hours after getting their pet vaccinated before bringing it to the groomers.
Technically, there is no such thing as a pet that is too old for a professional groomer. In fact, older pets with joint or mobility issues often can't groom themselves and need someone else to clean them. However, pets that are blind, deaf, or have serious medical issues might not do well at a groomer, especially if the person is inexperienced. Owners should feel free to ask potential groomers about their understanding of elderly pet issues. Often, older pets will exhibit puppy-like behavior and squirm or yelp during grooming. Alternatively, they might not be able to stand for long periods of time. As such, grooming an older pet usually takes more time than grooming a young one.
Puppies and kittens should be at least 10 weeks old before their first professional grooming session. They should be used to being gently handled by strangers and comfortable being separated from their owners for a few hours at a time.
