Pacific BMW
First of all, I am from Victorville and I am a full time photographer, so I don't have much free time. So when I was searching for a car, I didn't have time to visit dealers in person, and when I called this dealer and spoke to the sales person Marinka, she went out of her way to get me the best deal possible and even told me how to apply for financing online. I didn't feel pressured AT ALL by her, unlike other places, and instantly felt she was a person I could trust. I filled out the online application, which was really easy and after I got approved, she asked me to go to the dealer and check out the car. When I got there, the car was BEAUTIFUL, however it had some minor defects caused by the previous owner, but Marinka and Thomas the Sales Manager were very helpful and had no problem getting all of the issues fixed. After looking at the car, I was taken into the offices to fill out my paperwork and was helped by Lucy the finance manager. She told me about all the available options and about a BMW credit card that I was approved for with the same credit check and never rushed me into buying anything. I felt very at home with everyone! Now I took my car back to the dealership so they can fix all of my concerns, which Danny and his team did and they gave me a fully loaded 2014 5 series to drive while mine was fixed. I feel very happy about my decision to buy a car from them. Everyone, especially Marinka was very helpful. I will definitely come back in the future to purchase an M6 (which I LOVE). I can't say enough about these wonderful people, I don't realize why they have so many bad reviews, but after being rejected at BMW of Ontario, and treated badly at other dealers, I can say I will recommend this particular BMW dealer to everyone! Thanks again!!!

California Collision Center
Thanks Manny, for being a beautiful human being, and making my day! My 2006 Subaru WRX looks new again! It was T-boned on the driver's side rear door, and was dented and scratched almost the whole surface area of the rear door body panel.California Collision came with recommendation from my insurance company, and after talking to many shops and researching on the web, I decided to take my Subie to Manny and Joe's shop. It was the best decision I've ever made in terms of picking a body shop, and I cannot be happier! When I talked to Manny on the phone the first time, I could tell he had a deep knowledge and experience on body work, and after talking to him for a few minutes, I was confident that he would take care of my car and restore it to its original state. You see, I had a horrific experience with a body shop in the past, where I had to go back at least three times, maybe four, to have them correct their imperfect work. But Manny would listen to my horror stories like my own brother, made some comments about the how it's not the company or the shop, but people who either make or break the results of body work...and he explained to me what he would do exactly to fix my car. That made me feel very much at ease, and was vital in my decision to trust him with my car.And his work does back up his shop's all 5 star rating on Yelp! My subie looks brand new again, and Manny and Joe even cleaned the car inside and out for me! They are both the nicest and the friendliest people you will ever meet! I highly recommend these guys for any body work for your car. Thanks guys!

Glendale Mitsubishi
Went to Glendale Mitsubishi this past weekend to look at a 2013 Evo X GSR. Gina had contacted me a few months before and kept in touch until I was ready. Got to Glendale and Gina was busy with another customer so Armando helped me in the beginning. He was very helpful. Then when Gina was free she came and introduced herself. She had a very positive attitude and was willing to help me out. Then Mike (the general manager) came and started talking numbers. And he ended up giving me a great deal on a Phantom Black Evo X that they had. So we went to the bank to get the down payment (cashier's check) and came back to talk to the financial department. He was really nice as well clarifying any questions I had. Once that was done Gina took me outside and showed me how to operate some of the things in the car. She was so helpful throughout this whole process up until I drove home with the car that day. And she has still kept in touch and told me I can always contact her if I ever need anything. Overall the experience here was great compared to other dealers that I went to. And they even washed the car and gave me a free full tank of gas. Now that's how you take care of a customer. I'm glad I made Glendale Mitsubishi my choice.

RPM Automotive Repair Inc.
I own a VW Tiguan and was having problems with the driver's side door latch mechanism. Since I no longer live in Glendale, I took my vehicle to my local dealership where, not only did they charge TWICE of what RPM charges just for diagnostics, the estimated cost of repairs for replacing the electrical system in my door was close to $600 on top of the diagnostic charge. I said no thank you and was able to get my door to stay shut long enough to make it to RPM. Once there, the mechanic who serviced my car took my door panel off and immediately found the real problem - the cable to the door latch had completely snapped - it had NOTHING to do with the electrical system in the door. It was obvious that the dealership hadn't even investigated the problem because it was OBVIOUS to anyone who actually looked what the real problem was. The total for my part and repair was less than $100 and I was able to wait in a comfortable, clean, air conditioned office while enjoying a complimentary snack and coffee. They even hand washed my car for me once the repair was done!! Needless to say, I'm NEVER going anywhere else but RPM for all of my future car problems!

Star Mazda
My car was stolen in July 2012 when temps were high and my bank account low. I actually did not consider buying a Mazda, but stumbled upon Star Mazda while car shopping on a 100+ degree day when I just needed a break. A sales rep brought me some cold water, I told him what kind of vehicle I wanted, and within two hours I had a fabulous car (named him Ernie) at a fair price with decent financing. Better yet, whenever I have taken my Mazda 2 in for any kind of service -- tire repair, tune-ups, detailing -- the service has been friendly and efficient (including emergency repairs on a Saturday morning). I get all my questions answered and issues addressed honestly and in a friendly manner. I had such bad experiences with dealerships in the past (blatant lying, losing my keys, breaking things during tune-ups) that I am astounded to be leaving a glowing review for one, but frankly I believe Star Mazda deserves five stars plus for putting customer satisfaction first.

California Collision Center
Someone drove too close to my car on the street and tore off my driver's side mirror. I went to one body shop and they wanted almost a month's rent to fix it. I was milling over what to do while stopped at a red light when I looked over and noticed California Collission Center. (I say noticed because I have seen the shop on my way to work for the last four years, but never took note of it until now.) Anyway, I stopped in, they looked at my mirror, gave me an estimate that was one-third of the other shop's cost, answered all my questions, and then proceeded to order the mirror with only a $5 deposit! (It was all I had on me at the time.) They kept me up to date on the order (which only took two days) and, when I came to the shop on my lunch hour they promptly finished the replacement and got me out fast. Polite, professional, punctual, and very affordable. I have recommended them to others and will continue to do so.

New Century Volkswagen
[Service Center] Umm...they're okay. I may be biased, as before I got my GTI, I owned a Lexus and would go to Lexus of Glendale across the street (which is AMAZING). This service center is not Lexus by any means, but given the budget constraints and challenges they may be dealing with the staff has always handled me with care. There are no loaner cars, and even though there is a..."shuttle", I have yet to have ever been able to use it. It's always "out" or otherwise missing or full. So I end up catching the bus to work every time I drop off my car. Do I miss the beautiful Lexus loaner cars--heck yes. Expect for there to be a large number of people there for service on any day of the week. It will always be busy. They do wash your car for free depending on what service you're bringing the car in for (mfr scheduled service), and they are the best detailers ever--my car looks brand new when I get it back.

Prime Time Collision
I recently had my car repaired at Prime Time collision center which was recommended by my insurance company. I must say their service is second to none. From the time I walked into their office until I picked up my car, which by the way looked better than when I first bought it. Their staff was professional and helpful and they turned a negative experience into a positive one. They truly make you feel like family.Plus I was very pleasantly suprised to see that they care more about the customer rather than the insurance company as evidenced by the fact that they fought with the insurance company to replace parts with originals rather than cheap aftermarket ones. These days you have to be very careful with body shops, especially not knowing how the industry works, but they way they treated me was sufficient to conclude that they are experts at what they do.

I read some iffy things about this place online, but the reality is that we bought a car from here and one from Beverly Hills BMW at around the same time, and this was SO MUCH better of an experience. I came in knowing what I wanted and with cash in hand, which will help you with any small dealership. I just wanted to see if the car was as represented but I was ready to buy. They were honest about the car and I got a great, fair deal on it. I thought Saul and David were both a pleasure to deal with. The best part was, no waiting for HOURS while a salesman and sales manager played their little b.s. games. Saul is the decision maker, he's either going to take your offer or not, but you won't get your valuable time wasted. We were in and out in less than an hour and I'm driving a black Volvo convertible that I love. Two thumbs up!

American Tire Depot - Glendale
It's been a few weeks but I have to write this review. I am so impressed with this place. I pulled in to the nearest tire store I saw because I realized I had a screw in my back tire. I've never gone to change my tire before. Usually my husband takes care of it so I was really out of my comfort zone. Arsen put me at ease and told me not to worry and that he would take care of it. He guided me to the waiting area and I waited. While I waited I heard Arsen deal with all of his customers in person and on the phone professionally and positively. This guy is a gem to this business. Then in like 20 min or so (even though they were super busy) my tire was all repaired and ready to go. I can not thank Arsen and American Tire Depot for putting me at ease and handling things.
Tips & Advices
Yes. New tires purchased online can often be priced lower than ones at a tire dealership. Buyers can often avoid state sales taxes and locate hard-to-find tire styles and sizes, but will still have to locate a local tire installer and pay sometimes high shipping costs.
The average cost of a set of new tires is $637, with a range of between $525-$725. In addition, installation includes mounting and balancing, alignment, and disposal of old tires.
The vehicle is raised and the old wheels are removed, then the old tires are removed from the wheels. The lug nuts, wheels, and valve stems are inspected and replaced as needed. The new tires are mounted and sealed, then inflated and balanced. The wheels are then replaced on the car. The average installation takes approximately 45 minutes.
Agencies such as the Tire Industry Association promotes tire safety through advocacy and education to the industry including: manufacture, sales, repair, service and recycling. Seek a full-service tire dealer who carries a wide variety of tire types and brands and asks about the type of driving you normally do.
  • Move your car to a safe location.
  • Turn on your car’s safety lights, apply the parking brakes and remove the hubcap if there is one.
  • Loosen the lug nuts with a lug wrench (but do not remove them), raise the vehicle with a jack and then fully remove the lugnuts.
  • Remove the flat tire and replace it with the spare tire.
  • Tighten the lug nuts by hand, lower the car and then tighten them fully with the lug wrench.

Just a moment...
