Armen Nercessian DO Inc.
The best doctor. My whole family goes.I don't know where to start. The doctor and the staff are great. Every time I've gone the office is busy. I don't know how they do it but they see all their appointments and many without. The doctor is very smart, very thorough, and very caring. You could see it in his eyes. He has almost instantly treated me for my fluwith one of his shots. He has been the first and only doctor to treat my child's asthma. I refuse to take him to the ER now.. My neighbor sent me to him for birth control and I got free blood work, a PAP, and a mammogram. He was also the only man I know to solve and treat a weird problem my dad had and probably saved his life. When the doctor opened his glendale office we started coming there when we needed to despite the long drive. This clinic always sees us on time but we don't care he's worth the wait. Besides the doctor is a star he's cute and he is on TV. Once the doctor has an emergeny and was a little late. His staff recommended we wait and we did to avoid an ER visit that never really works out. When the doctor came and talked to us we already felt better. We knew he knew what he was doing and trusted him. On behalf of our family we give you 5 stars because we can't give you 10. He spoils us. Just talking to you makes us feel well.

D Levi Harrison MD
Dr. Harrison and his staff are the best. I cut my finger badly and was referred to his office by local urgent care. His staff were able to fit me into his schedule within hours and that evening, I had hand surgery. The staff welcomed me to the office, were always kind and helpful. Dr. Harrison is the best of both worlds - compassionate and expert knowledge all in one. He is very detailed and a perfectionist so my finger looks like nothing happened to it. He really cares about his patients, it is obvious within a moment of meeting him.

Selena Lantry MD
I switched OBGYNs after having my two daughter when my last Dr. stopped taking my insurance. I was devastated when this happened and was reluctant to switch. I was referred by a friend and am so pleased to have found Dr. Lantry. She is the real deal, no nonsense, total pro & gets the job done. She's not surgery happy & fairly conservative in her approach. If you want someone who is warm and fuzzy, she's not your gal. But, if you want someone who can treat you medically, with total confidence, look no further.

Lim Taw
Dr. Taw is my general practitioner. He is patient and listens, and he really helped when I was having frequent respiratory challenges a few years ago. I like that he doesn't just go straight to writing up prescriptions but uses a good balance too of non-medical treatments and encouraging living in a healthy manner to prevent illness and addressing early symptoms to stay healthy. My only complaint is that he doesn't accept credit cards for payment, so I need to find my checkbook before my appointments.

Childrens Hospital Los Angeles Pediatri CS Management Group
Building and reception area is a little dated/grungy, but i love that there is free and ample parking in the building's garage. It's so much easier to come here for a doctor's visit than the main Children's Hospital on Sunset Blvd, so gets major points for convenience. We saw Dr. Jeffrey Koemple, pediatric otolaryngologist, and he was like Patch Adams! My daughter (normally terrified in doctors' offices) couldn't get enough of his dry wit. He's definitely got a way with kids.

Susan L. Chobanian, M.D.
I had my rhinoplasty in 1993 and couldn't be happier with the results, Dr Chobanian is thorough and if you tell her what you want she will work with what you have to get a good result. I looked carefully at the before and after books.. Seeing is believing, I've also referred several friends who were all very happy.. Keep doing what you do Dr Chobanian :)

Joana Tamayo
Dr. Tamayo delivered both my children via necessary casarean section and I was so pleased with her expertise, professionalism, sunny outlook and caring, compassionate demeanor. At every step of the way, I knew that both myself and my children's health and well-being was her priority. She has a terrific bedside manner.

Beeve Scott MD FACS
Wonderful full service Opthamology. Dr Beeve did Lasix eye correction on me over 15 years ago and I still see 20/20. I have been going to see the Beeve family my whole life. Wouldn't trust anyone else with my eyes. The staff is wonderful too.

Michael Javaheri
Was very nervous coming into see the Dr. After a thorough exam Dr. Javaheri put me at ease and assured me that all was well. The Dr. was very personable and patient with all my questions. I would definitely recommend him.
Tips & Advices
This depends on the facility. Patients should call to find out if they'll need a referral from their physician prior to making an appointment.
Aside from hyperbaric oxygen treatment, most wound care centers offer:
  • Debridement: The removal of dead skin and tissue surrounding the wound. This can be done surgically, using a whirlpool bath, syringes, enzymes that dissolve the tissue, or wet dressings that dry on the wound and absorb the dead tissue.
  • Dressing: Wrapping the wound in a protective film, gauze, gel, or foam.
  • Compression stockings: Tight-fitted fabric sheaths that encourage blood flow.
  • Artificial skin: A covering that is applied to the wound for several days as it heals.
  • Ultrasound: The use of sound waves to promote healing.
  • Growth factor therapy: The use of materials naturally produced by the body to encourage quick cell growth.
  • Negative pressure therapy: Creating a vacuum around a wound to encourage faster blood flow to the area.
Depending on where the treatment is administered, hyperbaric oxygen treatment  can cost $100- $1,000. After insurance is applied, patients may have a copay of $10 -$50 or a coinsurance fee of 10 percent to 50 percent.
Most wounds should heal within two to six weeks. An individual should seek chronic wound treatment if a wound has not begun to heal after two weeks or is not completely healed after six.
Most health insurance plans cover wound care. Patients should check with the clinic and their health insurance provider before seeking treatment to be sure.
