Lucio H Kim, DDS
Loved the office and Dr Kim! Can't say enough good things!I, like many people, haaaaate going to the dentist. very uncomfortable and very expensive. So over the years I have just avoided it.So the New Year resolution was to get everything back into shape, including my mouth. So being very apprehensive, I researched dentists and thru Yelp and the wonders of the internet, I chose to go to Dr Kim's office. And I could not be more pleased. From the beginning phone call, to Dr Kim introducing himself, to the great assistants and the less uncomfortable X-rays, it all went better than expected.I did have a few issues and one major tooth that had a large hole in it.Dr Kim was very patient with all my questions and fears and went over all the options for me.Financially I was a bit apprehensive b/c of the worst case scenario. It was quite pricey. But I called around and turns out although it wasn't the cheapest, Dr Kim's prices certainly weren't the most expensive. So I went ahead with the appointment. The shot was painLESS!! and the operation itself went smoothly.and this was the best part! Turns out the tooth didn't need a root canal OR a crown..both of which are big ticket items at the dental office.Just needed a filling..which is the most conservative and least expensive!!Dr Kim took pictures along the way to show what was going on and the progression of the treatment as well...very cool and very high tech! But the fact that he could have done a more expensive treatment but didn't! and wen the more conservative and less expensive route makes me TRUST him completely to look out for my best interests instead of his back account. Something that I have had a problem with in the past.Bottom line: painLESS! trustworthy and a skilled operator (time will tell).AND he followed up with me later on to see how I was doing.A lot of dentists and businesses could take lessons from this guy.-R.Lee

Bad Breath Institute
My review is beyond great, however, the manner in which I discovered the Dr.'s office was a bit embarrassing. I realized I needed to take care of a few, lets just say breath, issues, so I researched around and made a decision based on speaking with their office manager who explained a lot of helpful things. That and some of the reviews that I could relate to. I had been to other dentists, and they were not able to take care of the issues for me. It usually took many sessions going back & forth, but that was a significant difference here. After the first treatment, it was exactly what I hoped for. It was an immediate and refreshing experience. I also have nasal issues, and this helped me have a better nasal sensation that cleared up. The Doctor, Dr. Ohanessian, is very patient, gentle, and so amazingly thorough. Something else that was a great mark for me was I didn't have to wait in an overcrowded room for an hour to see him. The best part is that he also gave me a personalized plan for my treatments, and some items that I could do at home to help, which have been useful in maintaining the unpleasant breath. I've been very happy and more than satisfied with the level of service and procedures. I've done a few cosmetic and routine procedures like cleanings and veneers. The veneers that I had were perfect, comfortable, and the most beautiful white color! I get so many compliments on my bright, white smile, and that really makes me feel good about myself again. Plus, people are more comfortable at very close levels so now I'm not feeling insecure about that issue. I just wish I could have started going there sooner. Many thanks!

Bad Breath Institute
I've had the best experiences with Dr. Ohanessian and would travel from out of state to see him. The staff is just so sweet and warm. I never have to ask about anything because they have everything prepared for me before I can even think of anything! The office environment is incredibly pleasant and they try to accommodate your every need, from the great music, to the espressos, and everything in between. The doctor has a way of calming my nerves and jitteriness. He always explains what he is going to do and anything that needs to be done or not done. I was incorrectly self-diagnosing myself for something I was so wrong about and he pointed out what the real problem was. He is a true professional and treats you with so much courtesy. I've had everything done there, including cosmetic, invisalign, whitening, cleanings, and the bad breathe treatments. I couldn't believe that those treatments removed my coffee and garlic breath. It is an embarrassing issue for me and I couldn't find anyone that has helped it out so I'm grateful that now I have someone to turn to help me with this. I deal with the public and have to speak a lot, so my mouth gets extremely dry and I get so uncomfortable because I know that a gum doesn't take care of it. I couldn't be happier because its hard to find a very good dentist.

Tmj & Sleep Apnea Help Center
I have been seeing Dr. Pirayeh Sadeghi for the past year for help with TMJ and teeth grinding and have to say she is practically a miracle worker. I have had TMJ for over 15 years and had ground my teeth down to the point where my enamel was worn off and I had intense pain in my jaw muscles on a daily basis. I have been to numerous TMJ specialists, oral surgeons and other dental professionals, but have never been able to find anyone who could give me relief from the pain I was experiencing. Over the years I have spent thousands of dollars on different types of bite plates, acupuncture, physical therapy and other treatments but nothing seemed to have more than temporary results. I am so lucky to have found Dr. Pirayeh. She has been a life-saver for me and truly cares about her patients. Also, everyone else in the office is very friendly, helpful and good at what they do.

Brain Cho
If you want dental care that is efficient, affordable, AND educational, head to Dr. Brian Cho. His exams and subsequent explanation of the results are thorough; he will explain your dental health in a way you understand and will then explain all your options – the best, the cheapest, the alternatives. Moreover, he is friendly and his fees very affordable. Being uninsured for a number of years, I put up with sketchy, substandard dental care in clinics that were always trying to sell me teeth whitening and cosmetic procedures on an installment plan, so it is refreshing to get a dentist who tells me the plain facts about my teeth and doesn’t try to sell me something. Dr. Cho also genuinely cares about his patient. After a difficult root canal (unforeseen complications), he called me on a Saturday just to check up on me. Finally, a dentist I can trust!

Christopher Kurimoto DDS
I had trouble finding a dentist that consistently provides the proper personal care and professional attention, but Dr Kurimoto has been excellent over the past several years. I always had problem teeth, but Dr Kurimoto has helped keep my teeth in excellent health. Due to a failing dental crown performed multiple times by previous dental professionals, I was recommended to get a dental implant from a local periodontist. Dr Kurimoto's was able to recommend an excellent periodontist for the special procedure and the procedure was done seemlessly. Dr Kurimoto also volunteers a lot of his time in low-income clinics. I honestly cannot say enough great things about Dr Kurimoto's professional attitude and personal dedication.

Hudson Dental Corp
My son needed an Orthodontist for his braces. This dental office was referred by our regular dentist. The place is not hard to find. They have ample parking spaces. Their prices are extremely expensive compared to the other dentist we went for my older son. However, they look very professional and know what they are talking about. They've explained to us my son's teeth problem and how can they help him. This is not the first dentist we went to that's why I know they are not lying. They are willing to work with us with a payment plan and for that I am very grateful. I was just disappointed for buying a special toothpaste for $30 when I can get it for $20 online.

Rootvision Endo
I had two root canals done here and I have to say they truly are experts. The most pleasant experience I have ever had during a root canal. I felt no pain and the dentist was very understanding from the beginning when I told him I had a high tolerance for all pain medication so I would probably need more than the average person. I was referred here by my regular dentist so I think all appointments require a referral. They only do root canals here. I was treated by Dr. Shimizu but I know all the dentists are well qualified. The front desk staff is friendly and they offer snacks and drinks while you wait.

Broadway Dental
When I first started going to this surgery I was petrified as I had bad experiences previous. The way I was treated from day till my last appointment has been excellent. The dentist completely understood my fear and between the dentist and the dental nurse started to gently ease me in, I done know what there clever way was but it worked!!!! Since that 1st visit they have made me confident that I have all my treatment awake whereas before I had to be sedated for fillings. I find the surgery very clean as well as the reception area. I have after struggling for years found a dentist I trust.

Christopher Kurimoto DDS
Friendly and informative dentist. He did a wonderful job on cleaning my teeth and filling in a cavity over my last two visits. He always has fun stories to tell and is always interested on what's going on in your life. Great at small talk and giving advice on different things concerning teeth health. Very reasonably priced for services and convenient location near my office and home. Also, he gave me a goodie bag (toothpaste, floss, chapstick) on the way out!A big plus - there's plenty of street parking outside.
Tips & Advices
  • If a tooth decays and the nerves or pulp (soft internal tissue which helps teeth develop) become inflamed or infected
  • If a tooth is cracked or broken and nerves are exposed
This generally depends on any specific issues you wish to address with your teeth. There are toothpastes designed to whiten teeth, fight cavities, decrease sensitivity, prevent bad breath, resist gingivitis, and those specific to children (with lower fluoride content). There are also toothpastes that offer “complete” protection by combining aspects of many of the above toothpastes.
It’s recommended to get a professional cleaning at least two times per year.
  • Desensitizing toothpaste numbs the nerves in the teeth that can cause discomfort.
  • Mouth guard can protect against grinding teeth during sleep.
  • Fluoride treatment can be applied by dentists to sensitive areas to numb teeth and strengthen enamel.
  • Root canal can treat problems in a tooth’s core.
  • Surgical gum graft where a piece of gum tissue is removed from a section of the mouth to cover an exposed root.
Not everyone needs to have their wisdom teeth removed, but there are certain signs that can help you and your doctor determine if yours should be:
  • Wisdom teeth are pushing other teeth around, causing pain and misalignment
  • Cysts form around newly emerged wisdom teeth, causing jaw damage
  • Gums get inflamed and swollen, causing cavities and pain
  • Doctor determine from x-rays that wisdom teeth will cause problems in the near future
