PRO Nail and Spa by Tina
I went here twice, one for my senior prom with my friends, and other for my graduation with my grandmother. The first time, they were nice, but not that kind, to me when I was with my group of friends, they did a pretty good job with a decent price BUT when I chose the regular/basic acrylic nails, they kept on downgrading the fact how it's not going to look pretty and etc so that I can get the pink base acrylic(which is more expansive). I refused to get the pink base because I didn't want to spend more money than I already had for prom. I didn't feel good about that and for the rest of the treatment, she rarely talked to me. The second time was when I was done with this place. I went with my grandma for her birthday and my graduation and they weren't making any conversation with the both of us. I felt they were (honestly) a little racist, the other ladies were making conversations with their "white" client but mine and my grandmother's were mute the entire time (I'm not white by the way). My nail lady looked like she didn't even wanted to be there. To add on, she burned and scraped my cuticles and skin with a nail filer! Not one but three fingers, it hurt but I was going to get over it but she kept going and didn't even say sorry until I winced when she put this acid liquid to make the cut better which obviously didn't. They didn't offer a discount, free service, nothing! And at the checkout, I told the owner's husband, I assume, about what happened and even he didn't apologize! I was mad by then.I'm not going back as my experience was troublesome, bad, and painful. I'm not trying to bash this place, but I'm just giving an honest review about what happened and how I truly felt about it.

Boutique Nail & Spa
I was a frequent customer(back fills every two weeks) and love the quality of the nails I get ( when done by the owner).... However when I have gone to other employees I am not satisfied with the quality of nails and the specifications that I make. My nails grow extremely fast and they don't ever push back my cuticles so I have to make sure before I go in to so so myself or I would be paying to come back every other week due to outgrowth. The major issue I have had with the salon is I will call in the afternoon just to verify their closing hours because they always seem to vary. I called today and verified they closed at 7 and would therefore show up at 6:15 my usual time. I walked to the door and it was locked and the owner popped his head out as I walked away and said you come back tomorrow. This is the third time this has happened. In fact once I showed up early at around 4:00 with my friend and asked what the wait time would be for both of us to get a chair and get started on our nails and needed to stick to a schedule because she was only visiting AZ for a few days. They said we both would be getting started in 15 min. My friend started getting her nails done 15 minutes later and after almost an hr of getting her nails done, they finally had a chair for me. Needless to say I declined their service and went to a different salon after her vacation was over. If you want your nails done and don't have any place to be welcome to boutique nails and spa, but if you have things planned that take precedence FORGET about going to this salon.

Tops Wheels & Tires
REMEMBER THIS: SOMETIMES, YOU JUST GOT TO TRUST A STRANGER!!!!!TIP : They also have great deals on craiglist .I couldn't think of a better way to thank Tops Wheels & Tires for being our auto care provider. I have been an established customer since they initially opened. I do not see why I would go to a major tire server when I can have what I need with them. They truly have great customer service, excellent merchandise, very reasonable and most of all are very respectful and reliable. I also appreciate that they are a family owned and operated business that do know what a customer wants. They don't see you as a comission, they see you more like a family that really want to get you on the road safely. Very much always willing to help others too.. Give these guys an opportunity. Take it from me a soccer mom that is always on the go and need my van and tires in more than excellent conditions. I carry very very special cargo. May you all have a great day and sometimes you just got to trust a stranger!!!!!

Arriba Mexican Grill
This is terrible. My wife and I just ordered margaritas that were a special price for the day, Cinco De Mayo. And when they arrived they were the size of a Dixie cup. Even smaller! The cups were clear plastic, and the salt wouldn't even stick to the edge. The waiter had said that the margaritas price was 4 dollars. That's ridiculous for this size of a margarita. It should've been a dollar. You would think that if you ordered a margarita that was four dollars it would've came in at least a real glass. So after we get our plastic margarita glasses, we ask to speak to the manager. He comes up, and asks what the problem is. We explained our distress and he explained that they weren't going to serve real glasses because it was a safety issue. Everyone around us at other tables had real margarita glasses. The manager then said that he could not comp drinks, just food. So eventually the manager had taken off 50 dollars off of our bill. It was terrible service and we will not be returning there again.

Autobahn Motorwerks
I want to start of by saying that i am a very picky person when it comes to finding a mechanic for my car. HANDS DOWN Chris is the man! Not only does he do routine maintenance, but when it comes to aftermarket parts and tunes, that was the icing on the cake! Test/Tune/Data logging he gets it done 100%, He always stands by his work, and if your not satisfied? Autobahn Motorwerks will work with you until you are walking out of there facility knowing you got whatever service done and done the right way. Autobahn Motorwerks has VERY competitive prices and majority of the time they are lower then anyone around the valley! Which prompted me to continue in the VW Family with purchasing a MK6. Autobahn Motorwerks is very versatile with all years and makes with VW/AUDI's whether is OEM or Aftermarket parts. Autobahn Motorwerks "IS" my neighborhood auto shop(even knowing i live in San Tan Valley) I will continue to get my VW MK4 and my MK6 serviced and tuned by Chris @ Autobahn Motorwerks.

Kerry's Car Care
I dropped my daughter at daycare and my car started smoking!I popped the hood and saw a stream of liquid spewing out, I just had her at a shop the day before. Fearful of what it maybe I tried to find the closest shop possible. Kerry's was it. I was shocked at how nice it was inside ,and was helped right away. A gentleman went outside and assessed the problem, and I scringed waiting for a high #, I was shocked again at how low it actually was.I told them I was running behind and had to get to work...lemme tell ya, they took my car straight in a bay and had it out in time for me to get to work!.(it was a hose repair, but still it was done quickly and efficiently. I have yet to find a shop I like and trust and w an 02 vehicle ive had my share, but I was so impressed im going there if I need anything else, to give it another go..(hopefully it won't b anytime soon) but at least I know where im going:0).

Honest-1 Auto Care
8-10-16I had a great experiences with having Honest 1 do my truck repairs. One time they were able to save and recondition a part that would have cost hundreds of dollars. Very professional and I recommend this company often..9-16-16I walked out from work today (I work very close to this business) My truck would not start. I walked over to their shop and told them I was having a problem with my truck and where it was, They sent someone to my truck , they got it started and they drove it to their shop, annualized the problem and fixed it on the spot. The cost was very reasonable. Soon I was on my way !!! Can't beat that !

Tops Wheels & Tires
This place is GREAT! I brought my truck in and needed (4) tires, Gustavo the owner had exactly what I needed and gave me a great deal. It only took about 20 minutes for his team to pull off the tires mount and balance the new ones. These guys are real professionals. The review posted about Mike has nothing with the tire shop and was a shady business behind the tire shop which is now gone Yipee! I have been going to Gustavo @ Tops for 5+ years, he works on my vehicles and my daughters cars and I have never been disappointed. I highly recommend you check out this place before you spend several hundreds on new tires.

Merc Precision Auto LLC
I highly recommend Ken's Precision Auto in Glendale. In my experience they are the most knowledgeable and skilled auto shop in west valley. They take care of your routine maintenance promptly and professionally. On top of that, because of their technical excellence they can also tackle complex issues that other shops cannot. I have a personal experience with my '71 Triumph Stag (It's got a Chevy V8 conversion and other restomod components). Ken and his staff has been able to sort my car out and now I can enjoy it on a daily basis. I want to add that Precision Auto pricing is upfront and very competitive.

P and J Auto Center
May 11, 2017Jose and his son Victor had my H2 Hummer for the better part of a week going over many years of neglect by the previous owners. In the end, P & J Auto saved me well over $1,500 from the repair estimate Chevrolet had written out for me. Jose used mostly GM products for the repairs and gives a One Year / 12,0000 Warranty on Parts and Labor. Very nice piece of mind. Better Business Bureau A+ rated. These guys are very fair and professional all the way. They WILL NOT try to sell you anything you do not need. When i came to pick up my Hummer they had steam cleaned the engine and bay!!
Tips & Advices
Yes, it’s best to empty drawers, wardrobes and chests before a move. Items always get knocked around a bit, and doors can fly open even if they’ve been taped. In fact, more often than not, movers will want to remove the drawers from a dresser--or disassemble the wardrobe to be more space-efficient.
Yes, it is customary to tip movers, but the amount varies widely. For full-service moves, a 5 percent tip is suggested, although, for extra service, some people go up to 10 percent . For small local movers, you can give each mover $10 for a few-hour job, or $20-$40 for jobs that take longer.
A bill of lading is the legal contract for the move. It provides a detailed receipt, in addition to a contract between the client and the mover. It authorizes the mover to transport the goods from one specific point to another, and it outlines the exact scope of services, with cost breakdown for those services. It also provides an itemized list of the inventory, and carrier liability protection for each declared item. Finally, it specifies the payment arrangement. Make sure to go over your itemized list extremely carefully before finalizing the paperwork--and get a copy of the full document. A good mover will go over everything on the bill of lading with the customer.
There are several items that moving companies will not move – those items will be listed on a document as “non-allowables.” These items typically fall in three categories: perishables, sentimental/personal items, and hazardous material. Perishables are food and plants. Sentimental/personal value is up to the client to decide, but usually includes jewelry, medical and dental records, personal paperwork, valuables and collectibles. Hazardous material is the tricky category, since it includes a lot of everyday items found in the garage, garden or kitchen. For example, cleaning liquids and pesticides both are considered non-allowable by many companies. Some go so far as to disallow nail polish and batteries.
A binding estimate means that the moving company cannot charge more than the stated amount, though they can lower the final bill if the scope of the job was smaller than expected. A non-binding moving estimate is more likely to wind up costing more than expected, since the movers can increase their rates for unforeseen variables like stairs, “long carry” and materials.

Just a moment...
