Carling Aquatic & Physical Therapy
Words cannot describe the relief that I achieved after just 10 days of physicaltherapy at Peterson-Carling PT in Gilbert.Considering the fact that my hikes are on the challenging side, the knee pain over the last 4 years was un-bearable enough to finally get a PT referral from my dr.After thinking it was my knees that were weak, x-rays showed nothing wrong with the knees, but it was my hips that were the issue. After just 10 days of PT, I was hiking 8 miles, absolutely pain-free. The next week-end did 11 miles between 2 days, again pain-free.Over the long new year’s holiday, I actually did a 22 mile hike over 3 days, absolutelypain-free!The office staff is very friendly and Tyea is great to work with for insurance and scheduling.I’ve been impressed with Steve Carling and his physical therapists staff – and more thanelated that they have given me my life back so I can continue with the active life style I have.

Yellow River Massage
Excellent massage! I went in feeling very tight and tense, and came out as relaxed as I've ever been. I think I've finally found the cure to my back pain, and I will definitely become a regular. Ivy has magic hands!

Continuum Wellness Clinic
I scheduled my son for PT here, due to a sports injury, because they could get me in right away. I have 3 children who are athletes and have gone to PT other places. Words can't express how grateful to Steve and Brandon for what they've done for my son. They are BY FAR, the best Therapist (and assistant) we've ever been to. They took one-on-one care with my son to return him back to 100%. A sports injury is not only physical but mental as well. They not only rehabilitated his body but built him up emotionally so that he was ready to return better than he was. With my son, they used sport specific activities and took extra time with him. We've been to the highest recommended sports injury therapy practices - This practice is better. We always saw the same people so his therapy was consistent. Highly recommend Steve and Brandon!!

Duvonna did a great job at relieving my pain and stiffness I was felling in my neck and shoulder. I felt very comfortable and will definitely refer her as well as use her services again. Thank-you.
Tips & Advices
At the first appointment with a physical therapist, Expect an overall assessment of your condition, which may include exercises to understand your range of motion, balance, and strength. Based on that information, the therapist can then design a regimen.
Physical therapists can work in a variety of environments. While many choose to work in a physical therapy clinic, others will operate out of hospitals and are also able to make house calls to help patients who need in-home assistance and rehabilitation.
Physical therapists can specialize in sports medicine, women's health, geriatric, neurologic, orthopedic, pediatric, and cardiovascular and pulmonary conditions, among others.
See a physical therapist following a serious muscle or bone injury, especially if pain doesn't go away within a few days, is recurring and dull, or is frequent and sharp. Book an appointment if medication is not helping or if your doctor recommends it.
The majority of health insurance plans do include physical therapy treatment, but the amount covered and the co-pay for patients varies person-to-person. Medicare and workers’ compensation both cover physical therapy.
